SRP Absence and abandonments.

While I'll be visiting for 'company', I'll not be posting my srps due for another few days, as I've managed to wake up with a full on flu. I'm just sick as a dog right now, and want to sleep. Sorry Veroe and M13 ( who are waiting.).:(

I'm having rotator cuff repair surgery on my shoulder tomorrow, Feb 25th. Afterwards, they tell me I will not be able to use my arm for a while. I had thought I'd be able to cheat a little and at least type with it, but they tell me otherwise.

To all my co-writers and online friends, I still plan to be around, perhaps as a lurker, or one handed typist, but I beg your indulgence on the slowness of any replies to role plays, threads, or chat during this time. :rose:

You take care of you Thryi, I for one, will miss you. Hope this alleviates some of your pain.

Thanks, Ausus. And maybe by the time I can use both arms freely again, I might be ready to let you put chains on them for a little while. ;)

Anni, take care. That sounds painful, so just do what they say and keep it rested. Look forward to seeing your one handed visits though. Good luck.:)

Thank you, Alana. :rose:

It went better than expected, according to the doctor, but about what I anticipated. They put in a nerve block during the surgery so that my arm is numb, including the left side of my neck and partway down my back on that side. They say that this will last about 14 hours, and then wear off.

In the meantime, I haven't been this free of pain in years! Most of the pain I deal with comes from neurological problems in my neck and upper back, but the shoulder nerve block works on all of it. Benefit- me! Yay!

Oh, they also said I may be a little 'loopy' for a while too. ;)

Thank you, Alana. :rose:

My dear friend you know my feelings I have sent them to you privately. :rose:

I finally received a call I've been expecting and dreading this morning. My uncle lost his battle with pancreatic cancer and passed away yesterday. I'm going to be gone for a few days as I head out of state to attend his funeral. I should be back to Lit within a few days.

This was hardly unexpected. He was diagnosed over a year ago with a very poor prognosis, and had been terminal for some time. I've had time to process with and deal with it.

Having had some rotator cuff issues lately myself I hope the surgery takes care of everything you were expecting :rose:

Thanks everyone, for the condolences. I appreciate it.

I'm back tonight, should be back to posting to my stories tomorrow. Hope everyone else has had a pleasant couple of days.

To my dearest co-writers,

My life has suddenly gotten busy. And I find myself with a shortened time frame in which to post.

However, I beg your patience, because I have no wish to drop any of my threads. If you would allow, I would ask that you give me time in which to post. They are coming, if much slower.

If this is not something you are willing to do, then please PM me, and let me know.

Thank you all,
Aus.

To my darling lounge denizens,

I will simply not be around as much, however, I do think you all shall manage just fine. Many kisses to those who are near and dear, and I be around. I promise.

Kisses!

I'd wondered why I hadn't run into you lately. Hope everything is going swimmingly with you, darlin'. hopefully it won't be too much longer before I manage to bump into you again.

To all my co-writers,
Unfortunately, the real world has encroached on me as of late and I am not able to log in for longer than it takes me to check my inbox and log back out. (Shared computer syndrome strikes again.) I should be back by the end of the weekend. Please be patient with me. I will respond to all threads as soon as i have the time to sit down and type up something decent.

Regards,
Illiana

Co-Writers and Partners,

I absconded for a couple nights on an impromptu vacation. I'm sorry for the brief and unannounced absence.

Apologies for kinda poofing off on a number of threads over the last week and a half.
Hard to write Lit stuff with your 14 yr old nephew hanging around...

I'll be catching up ASAP.

To my partners and people who may have missed me...

I started back at work last week and think it took it out of me a bit as my brain is basically dead!
But, I'm getting back into my stride and am hoping to have brain power to dedicate to threads and general flirty fun very soon :)
Big big huge apologies to all those waiting for me

I will post the new challenge thread tomorrow as I have it all set up all ready to post ;)
If I'm lucky, I might get to finish my own submission for the current one and get some reviews up tonight but I'm pretty sure I'm kidding myself...ah well...you never know...

Love to you all

To my partners

I will not be replying to the threads I owe posts in until at LEAST sunday the 27th due to the fact that I have family here from out of town for my pending graduation ceremony.

I apologize for the delay and will be back to posting as soon as I can!

Cowriters and interested Lit denizens;

I will be unavailable for some time, until at the earliest the closing days of April. I realize this is merely an extension of an existing absence to which you have no doubt become accustomed. Apologies yet again.

Just so you guys know, if you haven't read my message in Princess' Palace of Smexy

I will be absent next Thursday April 7th and will return on Monday April 11th.

To all my active co- writers,

I have been away for the week, but am back now and will do my best to post to our threads asap.

Illiana
