Supreme Court Takes Trump's Immunity Claims

Oh, he GONE gone. He is at the bottom of the sauce and ain't coming back up for air.

Homeboy gonna have the aneurysm of his life when Cheeto's choo-choo train crashes for the second time. :ROFLMAO:
You gotta laugh that he used to disparage Obama for being someone who was outside the establishment norm and could use words to attract large crowds with limited political experience.

It's almost like trump and Obama are the same!

Well, except for that one thing.

The fact remains that no president has ever been prosecuted for actions occurring while he was President. That is until corrupt Democrats realized that the only way to stop their political opponent and interfere in the next presidential election was to open a campaign of unprecedented lawfare never seen in American history.
It is also a fact no President has ever been charged with as many crimes as Donald Trump for the actions he took prior to and post-J6. The justice system responded, as did the Federal legislators moving for impeachment. They responded to an unprecedented internal attack on America not seen since the American Revolution. That's unique as well as not prosecuting a sitting President.

It is now in the hands of the judicial system to determine the outcome. Ironically, that outcome may never conclude because of how our judicial system defers to individuals involved in running for official offices to avoid the appearance of 'election interference.'

Irony - justice - Is it justice for all - in equal measure?

Do you want to give President Biden immunity?
🤷🏻‍♂️

All of which are politically driven and you know it. if you want to fuck around and deny Trump immunity for his actions as President you might as well take that 300-plus page Hur Report and slap an Indictment cover sheet on it, because that is exactly what it would amount to. Why don't you take the weekend and try reading it in full, all 388 pages of it, and get back to me about Trump's "crimes." You can read it here:

https://www.justice.gov/storage/report-from-special-counsel-robert-k-hur-february-2024.pdf

Gunny Shitpants is standin' tall for "lifetime Presidential immunity". "All politically driven!" he squeals.
How can he really say that trump will bring back the Constitution when he evades taxes, wants to take guns without due process, jail political opponents and journalists, etc.

Oh, and that whole wanna be a dictator thing. 🙄

Like you, I believe in the legal system and that justice will be served - I don't know if this is politically driven. But I am happy to see it out in the open and the public is aware of what is happening under a free press, unlike Russian driven propaganda.

One need only read the first three paragraphs. The rest of the 388 pages is the supportive documentary.

Pargraph One: A Republican leaning Special Counsel, determined no criminal charges were warranted against Joe Biden.

Paragraph Two: Biden retained classified documents after his Vice Presidency and disclosed some documents.

Paragraph Three: However, 'our investigation found that the evidence does not conclude Biden's guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.'

--------

Trump, on the other hand:
  • Denied he had classified documents.
  • Claimed he declassified them without proper procedures or notifications.
  • Didn't give them back when requested.
  • He claimed he gave them back - later found to be false as he kept some after the FBI search warrant.
  • Had revealed the documents to others as recorded on a voice tape saying they were classified.
  • Then, he denied they were the actual documents he showed the individual.
  • He tried to get his lawyer to write false statements that he no longer had classified documents.
  • Had his body man move the documents around to fake out his lawyer who tried to tablulate and check to see if there were more.
  • Tried to get the IT fellow to erase the video tapes of the goings and comings of the locations.
  • Tried to get the pool guy to flood the rooms.
  • Ad infinitum
Trump is 'fighting like hell' because he thinks he might be found guilty by a crooked jury of his peers. Unlike Biden who returned the documents, and cooperated with the investigation.

Note: Trump so far only faced one jury of his peers in a civil case against E. Jean Carroll and was found guilty. He was found guilty of fraud in a NY criminal case by a judge, and that may be appealed - if he can raise the bond amount. He lied under oath about having 400 to 650m to cover those costs. [The saga keeps unfolding as the myth of a billionaire unravels before the public eye.]

The fact remains no president has pulled the shit trump has while president. trump’s only reaping what he’s sowed.

Trump being such a impressively squeaky clean President and candidate that his opponents can only grossly lie and promote massive misinformation about him to try and stop him as well.

Ironically, I didn't know Trump at all prior to his first election campaign (aside from a vague uninterested name recognition), and only after I paid a bit more attention to him seeing what he said and how the media lied and smeared him, then I became am enthusiastic supporter.
Yes, it’s clear you had and still have no idea about who trump really is. Squeaky clean, lol and jeebus I hope you’re joking

I knew he was a billionaire and a TV personality but was ambivalent about him as a political figure until he came down that escalator and started speaking to the press. I knew then that he would be a game-changer in Washington DC and supported him fully and still do. Today he leads a movement in America comprised of millions of supporters that grow in number daily. He draws more people when he shows up for court than Biden does when he holds a rally. He is America's last hope of retaining the constitutional order the country was founded upon. The Administrative State hates him and will stop at nothing to take him off the board.
Well, I agree that trump is a game changer, just not in the way you think. Last hope of retaining the constitutional order the country was founded on-you really have the blinders on, either that or your all in on an authoritarian dictatorship

Holy shit.
I see your holy shit and raise you a holy fuck!

15 historians have filed an amicus brief on the Constitutional basis for denying blanket immunity to Presidents. It’s entertaining reading. In short, the founding fathers anticipated someone like Donald Trump being elected to the Presidency. He doesn’t have immunity.

He isn't, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility that he's just roleplaying as a deplorable to stir things up.

It doesn’t matter. The SCOTUS is helping Trump run out the clock. If he isn’t re-elected, they will rule that he does have immunity

Read the brief. That would be a direct violation of both the letter of the Constitution and the founder’s stated intent.

I’m sure Roberts would like to avoid running afoul of the Constitution but they are going to do everything in their power to keep Trump out of jail

The Supreme Court has been suborned. If the justices ignore the Constitution and find that Trump has immunity, that’s grounds to begin impeachment hearings in the House and remove them from the bench.

Zero chance that a conservative justice gets impeached by the current House. And less than zero chance that 2/3 of the Senate would convict.

It’s unlikely that the Republicans will have much power in Congress after November. Trump is dragging the whole party down. If the Supremes find that Donald Trump has immunity, they’ll be impeached by the new Congress.

I think you haven't been paying attention to polls. The House is not expected to change hands and the Senate, very much, is predicted to switch hands.

Nobody said anything about "lifetime presidential immunity" except IRobButtsDownSouth. Presidents have immunity for what they "did" while in office not what they "do" after leaving office.

Your premise is flawed, not unlike your entire life.
Total immunity whilst in office would mean that Trump could strangle your favorite fuckboy to death on national TV and suffer no consequence for it?

I
don't
think so.
