After 3 X-rays, 2 ultrasounds and 1 MRI it was finally determined that all up I had fractured a bone, tore 2 ligaments - one of them even pulled a bit of bone off with it and damaged a third ligament.
No wonder it hurt….

Good news is I don’t need surgery. And it’s healed enough that I’m not at immediate risk of rupturing it so….

After 20 long weeks of being stuck in the moonboot I am finally free!!! I can wear shoes again!!!! Though I do need to buy a new set of boots…

Physio has already started this afternoon and apparently I’ve been doing well with the gentle exercises my doctor has put me on. I even have gotten a fancy ass brace which has supports to help me while I build up strength in my muscles again because I’ve had significant muscles loss in my leg. But we are aiming to get me out of all supports asap.

Apparently I’ve got a long road ahead as I need to re-learn how to walk properly. I have to consciously think “heel - toe…. Point feet forward not to the side….” As I walk. So that’s going to be fun. Lots of strength, range and agility exercises. However I’ve been told if I work hard I could be good in 3 months. Though I’ve also been told that pain is probably going to get worse before it gets better.

Thankfully all my exercises I can do indoors… outside is scary. Afterall this all happened because I was walking on flat level grass and rolled my ankle….

I’m so happy for you, I know it’s been a long journey for you and you’ve had a lot of bad days. You did it!!!! 😊😊

RANDOM QUESTION!!!!

My siblings have asked the question of...
"Hey Minx, you have friends in America right? Can you ask them how much pop tarts are over there?"
Followed by...
"pop tarts are bloody hard to get over here"
"They have allllll the flavours there"

SO now I ask you.... my overseas friends... Where are you from and how much are pop tarts?!? Are they hard to obtain? Do you get many flavours?

LOL!!! I just told my sister and this was the response...

"THATS $3.11 AUD FOR A WHOLE BOX ITS CHEAPER TO BUY THEM IN AMERICA AND THEN SHIP THEM OVER HERE
and they have the bloody flavours we want
depends how much postage is but in theory if you bought enough of them it equate to cheaper even with postage, pop tarts cant be thattt heavy
why are things so much cheaper there even with the conversation rate"

I don’t know how much you could get away with shipping it to Australia. There might be a limit seeing as it is food.
 
Ive told her she needs to wait till next year as I have some massive expenses coming up. But maybe next year I can find someone nice to help me organise some snacks and post them over. So I got a little time... maybe she will forget about it?!?

It's kind of a long shot but it might be worth an email to Kelloggs in the USA and see if they might see the PR value in sending a care package to an Aussie pop-tarts lover. You never know??

I mean technically we do have it here but its fucken expensive AND there is fuck all flavours. Its like $7 a box. I know the stores have chocolate but unsure what other flavours they have. Usually I need to hunt in speciality stores but again the price!

My youngest sister seems to be very curious about overseas candy... She likes sour... I like sweet... So im sure when I can afford it Ill ask her for a list of what we can find. I blame the internet! She sees people on youtube and stuff talking about candy and then she wants it... :rolleyes:
 
I know, the Internet is like the greatest shopping catalog ever invented....& All it takes is money! 🤣Hopefully something cheaper & domestic catches her eye next!

Also I’m other news I went for a walk along the beach today. Fucken exhausting and took me hours even though I didn’t go far but I promptly fell asleep once I got home. All this exercising is exhausting but it’s for the best. I collected a massive haul of seaglass. Usually there isn’t anywhere near this amount so that was exciting.
In bad news though I chipped yet another tooth…. That’s 2 in the last month. Thankfully none of them hurt and it’s just chipping the top part off but has me worried about why they are chipping so easily.

I would say that you would be Purple.

It’s the color of royalty and is a mysterious color as well. To me it invokes a sense of excitement and passion.

To me, you would be ever changing like a rainbow. Red when mad, yellow when sick, orange when playful, green when unstressed, purple when mysterious, blue when you're down, glowing when happy.
