In defense of Doms in general {RANT}

I am, of course, talking about marquis.

I do not see why being dissatisfied with that threadmover will make participating on this board challenging. I have no doubts that once the wisdom of the true Dominant is put out for all to hear, opinions such as his, born of ignorance, greed and deceipt, will shy away in fear.

Excuse me... *ahem* ... But one thing I have learned here is that there is no hard and fast rules on what a Dom is or is not. To be setting yourself up as judge, jury and executioner for such is not a becoming look on you. Next thing you will tell me that I'm not a proper sub, and that I have the premise of Switch all wrong.



For the record:
While I do not think I would be a good sub for Marquis - our wants and likes don't mesh well, I would prefer to be his sub than yours. I have yet to hear Marquis rip someone apart for investigating their own nature. He may not fit your definition of DOM, but at least he is willing to listen to others without passing judgement on them.

All relationships require two way communication - if that is what you mean by street.

Netzach doesn't have me believing anything one way or another. My beliefs are built on my investigations and experiences. Regardless of what you think Netzach's submissives believe, they are obviously receiving what they need from their relationship with her.

Care to tell us why you feel so threatened - no it does not matter why.

Hmmm... I don't know if this bit is what you had in mind with your original question Etoile, but it came up in another thread where I posted a short little story in another thread and was told the actions I was describing was "topping from the bottom."

I don't really know how I would react, not being in a D/s relationship (only some elements in play). There are so many ways of looking at things. I always see TFTB as more going out to have your own needs met and overriding the domination of the Dominant. Sometimes part of being a good submissive is highligting something you see your Dominant may need more than what is happening such as if they are hellbent on getting you to orgasm but you can see they are extremely tired and overstressed after a hard day and might benefit in amny positive ways from a good massage. See what I mean?
