Don't know what they want to offer yet..if it's in the price range I had in mind then it's a done deal....if it's way out of the ball park then I will counter offer

I have to drop off to the agent later today a piece of paper LOL..actually it's many pieces of paper...called a "Disclosure to seller regarding property condition disclosure statement"....yeah...

But since my sons Dad also is partial owner of the propery he also needs to sign and I have to wait for him to get out of work...

They won't disclose what the offer is until they have this paperwork...

I got the impression from talking with the couple yesterday that they had seen a lot of houses.....and were less than impressed

I should see what I have left in my notes from when I used to actually race a car. 1/4 mile paved oval. 355ci small block chevy, Rochester 2g carb, 450 lift cam through a Turbo 350 auto trans run in LOW gear. 2.75:1 rear gears. It used to spin at 6800 rpm. 383ci Strokers used to get me off the corner then I'd run 'em down in the straights. That silly torque thing again...

Damn! There is a problem with having a bed so close to the computer I am using... I laid down to "rest my eyes" a bit and bingo! It's damn near 8:30 and I missed the whole coffee hour.

Yeah, I went through the new listings last night and found 5 or 6 to watch. I didn't notice the thing about some of them being the same guy. Another collector/fan of the brand do you suppose. This is going to be cool if they really catch on - I will finally have been right about one of these deals.

LOL - I had a friend that was into racing the 1/4 dirt tracks back in the day. They were running old 40s Chevies, truck six bangers and the transmission shifter welded to the dash. I think it was in second gear.

That sounds neat Spaz. So did you spend the week pounding out the big dents and painting the little ones getting ready for the week end?

The GTO I built would pull stumps at 1500 RPM, but I was scared to take it past 5500 for fear I would spin a bearing or break a rod. I ran a 3.10 rear end and would have been better off with a 2.90 for the street, but I so loved feeling my ass get shoved in the seat when I goosed it a little.

Here's the update as I posted it in my thread...

...I got me a new pc, dual core 2,4Ghz, HDD 250G, 2G RAM.
It will be assembled today and delivered tomorrow.
Then I'll call a techie wizkid to install the OS for me and a few other things. Then I'll have to spend a few hours myself reinstalling data and some more software. Not fun but I guess it's worth the trouble

On the weather front, I think today was the worst day so far...

All of my data is backed up and all of the software I run is genuine, so I can put everything back.

My enclosure worked for me. Hard drive wouldn't start the computer but it fuctioned as a slave drive perfectly so I was able to save all my data and pics before I started over from scratch. Hope yours works as well.
