Well George not an easy task.....But this area is where she was born an raised lived all of her life except for a few years when she lived in Florida....her family is here..this is where she would want to be..I wish she would have been more specific where she wanted to be scattered  she just said "anywhere"...

Time I guess to give her a place to rest....not easy though

Now that is funnier than a broken crutch! I wonder if he and his band keep count, how many show 'em each time he sees that song. It's the American thing to do. I will be googling to see if I can find the lyrics to that for sure. If they are unavailable, then I will pull 'em off the video. Thanks for that one Little Bit. :D

Oh, man Little Bit - what a job you have. Tearing through all those years worth of memories and making "go or stay" decisions. That is why the stuff was there in the first place - you weren't ready to make that decision.

One thing you can be thankful for is that you have a deadline. You got to get that stuff sorted out and whittled down to car load size in less than 2 months - cause you're headed for KC.

I've had a similar job, sorting through Anne's and My life over the last 38 years. Only I don't have a deadline that I can be held too. To easy to get frustrated with it and put it off, specially with me being a professional procrastinator and all.

Yesterday was a bust, envolving me and a case of the "Green Apple Quick Steps" and probably not enough sleep. The only thing I managed to get done is building a car for my racing team.

[aside]
A friend that is a programmer for MS in Redmond pinged me the other night and asked me to be the crew chief for his racing team. They are involved in a league, and run a set of races that is sort of like a ALMS season. All sorts of rules and crap, requiring a dedicated website and all. It is sort of goofy, but I have gained a world wide rep of sorts as a car builder and tuner. Isn't that a hoot?
[/aside]

So I built the car, designed it to be a top notch handler because it lacks the top end speed. You have to make it up in the turns. The car can accellerate through turns where the competition is having to slow down to stay on the road. You wouldn't believe how far you get ahead when you have your foot on the gas and the other guy has his foot on the brakes.

Here's a picture of the car, a 2004 Peugeot 206 RC. It has a full race suspension and drivetrain, the interior has been stripped of everything but the driver's seat. It has a cam, and exhaust and ignition upgrades. And it is fast, I guess more, quick.

If you look on the rear quarter panel you will see a light blue oval with BBB Racing in it. That's me, "Built By Blooze" He isn't quite done with the livery yet, but it is close. LOL - just a bunch of little boys playing "Cars."

So anyhow, I got all the sleep, a new sign coming for the studio (I paid $.99 for it, however shipping is $29 (from Hong Kong) ) and a couple new old songs to work on.

A Guitar Sunday. Looking forward to it.

The coffee is on...

:) $

Now, that guy is a hoot... and I have another set of lyrics to dig up.

Playing cars. The whole thing puts me in mind of me and my brothers when we were young. We had a neat collection of Tonka toys, construction equipment and stuff. We would play "Road Construction" in a pile of dirt left by a real life dump truck to close off road access to a set of old smelter RR tracks. Crawling around on our hands and knees, ruining our jeans, making engine noises. This was in the days before backup horns - or we'd have been doing that too... beep, beep, beep...

There is an Auction house associated with the game. You can put cars up for bid and make money (game credits) for them where selling them out right in the game costs you 50% of the car's value. I am hoping that in awhile I will have enough of a rep that I can sell off the cars that I no longer want with the idea that they are purchasing a genuine "Built By Blooze" car. That is the only way they can get one of my setups - I don't publish them. :D

Good luck with the sorting punkin. I sure hope you didn't block the path to the coffee pot.

That would be a friggin' disaster...

:) $

LOL....there is a path to the coffee pot....the bathroom...cause well if you drink a lot of coffee like I do you NEED a direct path...and to the bedroom cause sooner or later you need to collapse!!!

Stuff in the kitchen is ready to go to the curb tomorrow on garbage night..don't want to put it out to early and piss off the neighbors

The other boxes are in the livingroom still needing to be sorted threw...but I used up a lot of emotions yesterday and today is a work day so those will have to wait..

Well off to get dressed and find a game face for work...sure as hell hope it ain't mixed up in the maze

Playing in dirt ~big smiles~...LOL....I was a sandbox junkie....a couple of spoons..a few containers and some water and I was good to go for HOURS and HOURS

Good morning my love!

Sounds like I should have gotten up and held you close for a while.

Then tickled your ass being Wicked Man! :nana:

That really was a hell of a video. Thanks for sharing. Now, being Wicked Man, I have to ask, "Where's YOUR patriotic spirit young lady?" ;)

LOL I know how you feel. I always have to go help my Mom during Christmas time. She collects those Department 56 houses and I always have to help with the set up.

I can think of lots of people who store boxes of boxes. My brother has moved so many times he has it down to a science. When my Grandmother was renovating recently he cameto help with the packing and moving of stuff. We had to hold him back so he wouldn't get it all done in 45 minutes and wake up the next day with his back shot to Hell.

I can understand why your Mother said "Anywhere".

If its your home town then all of it is important to you and full of memories and good times. You can't really seperate the memories or put one place ahead of the others. I'm sure she'll be happy wherever she goes.

LOL...can I borrow your brother????

The first mess is in the kitchen...that's the stuff I have gone threw and will go out to the curb for garbage...

The second disater is in my livingroom of stuff still needed to be gone threw

ROFLMAO

Shit girl!! You should have shown those pictures to prospective buyers as a testimonial to how well the little ole house is built. And in most new houses, you would have the ceiling wrapped around your neck before you got that much crap piled on it.

Neat clock - and uh, can I have the lamp shade... (jk) :D

Weird night last night - I got the melancholies for my Annie, I miss her so much. I got so I couldn't tolerate being awake without her so I just went to bed early, and just stayed there.

This uncertainty about the result of death pisses me off. The idea that I will never know her again, that my only relationship with her will be her memory until I die and become a small portion of other people's memories.

Ah well...

Busy, busy week ahead. Many appointments family wide and CJ and I are the only capable chauffers, RJ is going down with an operation on his right wrist for a serious carple tunnel problem (a property or his kidney issue). The week culminates with me hopping a big silver bird bound for Michigan and my niece's wedding.

It has occurred to my brother and me that this may be the last time that the four of us will be in one spot together - my Mom and the three of us. Kind of tosses a different feel for the entire weekend into the mix - a need to really make it special and get lots of pics...

The coffee is good this morning...

Grab a cup, let's sort through Beamer's junk and make her nervous...

Hey Hey NOW...you can sort threw my junk all you want....BUT nobody that comes to visit can leave unless they fill up a box to take with them..that's the RULES :catroar:

It looked a whole lot worse than this....R's Dad is having a garage sale and he filled up his car with stuff to sell...

Funny to watch R go threw his boxes and discover his old toys...he saved a few things...a castle and a pirate ship...I got to laughing when I watched R and his friend shoot the cannon on the castle an pretend they were sinking the pirate ship

Storm is brewing here....the wind whippping threw the trees woke me up...kind of sultry here this morning

So this is the week-end of the big wedding...NEAT!! Yeah Honey pictures pictures...as I go threw boxes and discover pictures the memories come right back of the moments captured in them....sometimes you laugh and say "God dam I can't believe somebody let me out of the house wearing THAT"....pictures of places you have traveled to...pictures of the kids when they were little...special pictures of grandparents no longer with us. While the memories are always there someplace roaming around in your head...sometimes it takes a picture to jolt the moment back in place.

Oh hell I'm rambleing....Well Good Morning Chief...morning family... Think I better shut up and go find some coffee

Good Morning Little Bit... :)

LOL - Dark Tower. That was the game we found digging around in the closets. CJ says, "Ohhhhh, Dark Tower!" with affection, and I say, "You want it?" and she laughs and says "No."

I remember the Christmas the game came out. It was all the rage. Like Cabbage Patch Dolls. My Mom scored one someplace in Denver before the town sold out of them. I made a special trip down from Leadville so that the girls would have it under the tree Christmas morning. A successful Christmas! We had the hot game.

I need to change my grocery buying habits...

I worked at a grocery store for a while when I returned from California and used to wonder at the old people that showed up every day, or at least every other day and bought just a few items. Why not get more stuff and have less trips I thought. Now I know. I am still throwing out entirely too much stuff cause it has sat around so long.

I am without health insurance for the first time in my entire life, and will be until the disability thing comes through and Medicare becomes available. Weird feeling, living out on the edge...

[:)] $

Walked into the livingroom a little bit ago...cup of coffee and my smokes in hand with the intention of going threw a couple of boxes  set my coffee down walked into my sunporch watched the wind blowing the trees around..watched the birds...watched the cars go by...neighbors leaving there house going to work....hummmmm I think it's called procrastinating................ ;)

Ah, we can do better than that... procrastinating is such a, ummm, not fun word...

How about you are on the cusp of taking a big big step, perhaps one of the biggest of your life. You are giving up the home you have known for a major portion of your adult life, the town you grew up in, friends and aquaintances, the neighborhood, the job - to travel half way across the country to begin a new life with a man you love. Big step, Big change. It takes guts.

That sort of thing will make you a bit introspective. Sitting on the sun porch and sorting through the feelings, taking in the morning is good for you. Fuck the boxes and the sorting, that will get done. Enjoy your morning, the giddy feeling in your stomach as you look into the beginning of your new adventure, of your new life.

Guts you say...well yeah maybe some...think it has more to do with Believing.

Believing in who you are an what your capable of....Believing in the other person.

I have certainly run into others who think I have lost my mind. ...The endless questions....sometimes downright rude questions....To all those I answer...I believe in myself....I believe in my man....I believe in "we"..."us"

Some have asked about R...what about R? how can you leave him behind?
I am NOT leaving R behind....I always carry R and my older son with me where ever I go...R is not a young child...soon he will 17...a young man full of self-confidence,we have a well established solid relationship,he is staying in the same school district, living with his Dad and step-mom who love him.

It is my choice to go now....he has one more year of high school...I could have stayed till he finished....but always I am aware that life can change in the blink of an eye..oh dammit yes it can.If I only had 6 months to stay on this earth would I chose to stay here or be in KC?....The answer to that question was perfectly clear...R knows my love, will always know my love.....It is my time now..time to spend and hold my love....to share and grow an experience all the good and bad that life has yet in store for me...

The path threw the house is a little wider now....one gargabe can full...4 lawn and leaf bags full...it was time to quit..the day is getting too warm..way to warm to be working that hard..

Steps steps in the right direction...plotting and planning...
