Ah, we can do better than that... procrastinating is such a, ummm, not fun word...

How about you are on the cusp of taking a big big step, perhaps one of the biggest of your life. You are giving up the home you have known for a major portion of your adult life, the town you grew up in, friends and aquaintances, the neighborhood, the job - to travel half way across the country to begin a new life with a man you love. Big step, Big change. It takes guts.

That sort of thing will make you a bit introspective. Sitting on the sun porch and sorting through the feelings, taking in the morning is good for you. Fuck the boxes and the sorting, that will get done. Enjoy your morning, the giddy feeling in your stomach as you look into the beginning of your new adventure, of your new life.

:) $

One of my teachers in Junior High labeled me as a chronic procrastinator in one of my report cards!

Cool, I wasn't just an ordinary, everyday procrastinator, I was a special, chronic one!!!!

;) :nana:

Guts you say...well yeah maybe some...think it has more to do with Believing.

Believing in who you are an what your capable of....Believing in the other person.

I have certainly run into others who think I have lost my mind. ...The endless questions....sometimes downright rude questions....To all those I answer...I believe in myself....I believe in my man....I believe in "we"..."us"

Some have asked about R...what about R? how can you leave him behind?
I am NOT leaving R behind....I always carry R and my older son with me where ever I go...R is not a young child...soon he will 17...a young man full of self-confidence,we have a well established solid relationship,he is staying in the same school district, living with his Dad and step-mom who love him.

It is my choice to go now....he has one more year of high school...I could have stayed till he finished....but always I am aware that life can change in the blink of an eye..oh dammit yes it can.If I only had 6 months to stay on this earth would I chose to stay here or be in KC?....The answer to that question was perfectly clear...R knows my love, will always know my love.....It is my time now..time to spend and hold my love....to share and grow an experience all the good and bad that life has yet in store for me...

The path threw the house is a little wider now....one gargabe can full...4 lawn and leaf bags full...it was time to quit..the day is getting too warm..way to warm to be working that hard..

Steps steps in the right direction...plotting and planning...

Every day brings us closer!

And for all of those who question your decision, let them know that we will make every effort for you to maintain the lifelong ties you have built up with both family and friends.

I am looking forward to our future! :rose:

I'm pretty good at it myself.

I was going to do something about it, but I decided to see what was on TV instead.

Good Morning Family

Hope everyone is doing alright today

You will have nay-sayers no matter what you ever try to do... the ones that start most sentences with "Well, I don't know..." or "Yeah, but..."

Funny thing is, I am looking forward to you guy's future together too - I want to celebrate it with you. :) :rose:

LOL...can I borrow your brother????

The first mess is in the kitchen...that's the stuff I have gone threw and will go out to the curb for garbage...

The second disater is in my livingroom of stuff still needed to be gone threw
lol I would say yes, but besides having a full schedule you wouldn't be able to feed him for the amount of time he would be there. Not sure if he ever stops eating.

We are total opposites he and I. He is easy to get along with, easy going, dedicated, energetic, and even tempered.

Mom said she had me to balance it out. :(

YOU BEST BE READY TO CELEBRATE CHIEF!!!!!!

You and Annie are in so many ways responsible for Mav's and Mine beginnings.

I originally followed Syb over to Mav's thread  Hey what can I say the lady had great taste.I lurked for a long time before I posted over there...but his ability to be geniune with others always showed.
When Syb got sick a small group of us would e-mail each other or pm looking for and posting updates."Keeping the family" informed...her illness brought us closer together.
When you started posting Chief...wow I was blown away and so touched. The words you typed the stories you told ......reached out an grabbed my heart...sometimes they twisted and hurt my heart and other times my heart just filled up and overflowed with the love you and Annie shared.
Never until you had I run across such emotions displayed by a man...knew you were special..very special.
Made me pasue and think perhaps there were others that thought like you..LOL..ok so maybe not exactly like you. .but well hell you know what I mean.
In a site like this there are so many that are "surface people".....But you and Annie are so much more than that...Your love for each other crossed my path...crossed the continents..went around the world.
Your ministry of love for each other...lives and grows now and beats in the hearts of others....you two planted seeds and now you get the pleasure of watching your gardens grow...

Oh my my emotions run high today....not a bad thing....

As my cousin and my partner in crime as a child would say "Life is short..it's time to put on your party pants" :catroar: :nana:

Have them handy family....the time is coming soon

It's a hot one here family and I am off to shop for a birthday card for my nephew who is turning 21 soon and then I think I'm going to hang out in the frozen food section of the grocery store for a bit

Well off to get dressed and find a game face for work...sure as hell hope it ain't mixed up in the maze

Playing in dirt ~big smiles~...LOL....I was a sandbox junkie....a couple of spoons..a few containers and some water and I was good to go for HOURS and HOURS

LOL - damn, that Blooze guy sounds neat...

Don't know what to say, other than I am honored to be thought so highly of... and I am pleased with the idea that what had been our "Ministry" continues to have force.

I think you and Mav are going to do just dandy together - and somehow I think Sybs is involved with you two yet...

I am going to be dining and dashing this morning - hauling RJ to an out patient surgery in my new Van (well, new to me - and it is all mine, got it for my Acura and $1200). I will have some pics of it later.

Right now I'm just trying to catch up with my ass. Sure came up busy this week...

You all have a good day!

Morning Blooze!

One begins to wonder who was doing all this stuff that is keeping you so busy. You are chasing your ass, like Mr B chases his tail.;)

It is good to see that you have plenty of things going on to keep you occupied and seemingly happy!

Have a wonderful day!

A new van...neat...now you can take as many of the ladies for a ride as you want and none of them will be bitchin about the others "invading there space"

Good luck with RJ..keep us informed...keeping the family in my thoughts

Ah, good morning gang... *yawn*

Where is the dumb assed cat? She's kinda like a puppy anymore, follows me around talking to me. Only in the early morning, when the lights are out except for a light in the kitchen, and a couple night lights in the hall, she is sort of hard to see, and we stumble on each other, then she squalls and I cuss...

So we wander down the hall, each trying to keep track of the other...

So, dipshit, how did you sleep?

It is a chirp sound, half meow and half purr... I don't know - chirp describes it best.

Chirp

Is that right, well I told you not to snack in the middle of the night...

Chirp

What did you stop for dumb ass?

Chirp?

Move dammit, or I'll put a foot up your ass...

Chirp!

Yeah? You and what Army? Now looky there, your bowl is half full - what are you bitching about?

A full fledged bitchy sounding meow here...

All right, alright... I'll dump it and get you some fresh.

Now what's it goin' to be, the fish shit or the chicken shit?

Chirp.

Okay, fish it is...

She usually sits where the bowl goes and yeowls now and I caution her to hold her damned horses, and then to move - I occassionally give her a little quick step shuffle with a side of a foot so I can set the bowl down, and she bitches, and I tell her, "...well move then, dammit!"

She sets up with crunching the food and I freshen her water and toss a couple ice cubes in it (she likes it cool). She stops eating long enough to watch the ice cubes crack.

Once I have the coffee going, I come back to the studio here and start checking the forums and email and writing the "coffee" post.

Chirp

Now leave me alone dammit - I'm busy.

Bitchy Chirp - so I scratch her head a bit and tell her to knock it off.

Bitchier Chirp - I pick her up and put her in my lap and try to type while she figits. After a bit she gets bored and hops off my lap and jumps up into the middle of the unmade bed, knowing that I am going to want to make it up soon.

Right now she is sitting there, looking like a squat little budha while she licks her belly - cleaning up.

I laugh "You goofy shit..."

She looks up at the sound - "chirp" and for the life of me it sounds like she said "fuck you." and resumes with her abolutions...

The coffee's on...

:) $

Off to bed now Chief...hoping RJ is resting comfortably
The operation went well - I cautioned him that he wanted to get stoned and stay stoned for about 4 days, that he didn't want to find out how it feels. He was doing pretty well when I called last night. CJ was giggling when I talked to her - I guess he was sort of goofy...

Thanks for askin' Little Bit... :)

Sounds a bit like my morning routine with the Pea. Except that I wake up to her running across the bed and my back (usually after the alarm has gone off but not always) a quick stop between my head and the night stand and a quick "Oh, I see you are up!" chirp. Then she's off the bed and running.

If I am not quick enough to rise, the pattern is repeated dash ..... chirp ..... jump off the bed before I pet her. Over and over until I give in and sit up for the morning nicotine infusion.

Run back up on the bed and stop far enough away that I cannot touch her. Then the slow saunter up to petting range. A couple of long pets and she's off again. Chirp.....

Morning Blooze and family!

I don't know about that......... She gets really sticky after I pour the teriaki sauce over her... fur sticks to everything and there are little brown sticky footprints on EVERYTHING!

And it takes her hours to get it off her fur and I think she prefers french sauces to chinese.

;)

But you still have the little brown sticky footprints to deal with and everything smells like a chinese restaurant. :(

Besides, it is no fun petting a shaved cat. Not the same satisfying experience! ;)
