Hummm coffee...I smell coffee :)

Raining here this morning...it's been weeks since it rained..one of the driest Junes on record...I was looking at the grass last night half of it is burned out...

Play me a tune Chief....pretty please while I sit at the table and attempt to wake up...

I made up a fresh pot, but forgot to hit the damn button.

I had a good 4th. Spent a good part of the day working on pictures.

Not much to do outside during the day, with the rain and all. :rolleyes:

Morning Chief....Morning Family :kiss:

We had a rainy 4th here so that it a "perfect shopping day"...perfect of course unless you work in a store... :rolleyes:

It was like Christmas yesterday...at the end of the day the store was up 65% over plan...my feet were screaming and my ass was kicked.

I woke up early this morning wandered into the kitchen had half a cup of coffee and then said "screw it" and climbed back in bed

So I'm starting the morning all over again..still trying to wake up...An eight hour shift this afternoon and then I have 2 days off.... :catroar:

When you get a chance tell us how your coming with the studio and what your doing.... :kiss:

Had a good Fourth

Didn't do anything, but was still good.

They don't OFFICIALLY allow fireworks here, but that never stops our neighbors. The one guy likes to buy those BIG ONES. Every year it sounds like he just blew up his garage. :rolleyes:

Spent quite awhile trying to pry the cat off the ceiling after some of them. :catroar:
 
Hey there guys... :)

The studio: except for a minor few things, build out a guitar hanger, I have come up with a way to keep 8, 9 or so guitars available at any time in there and not give up any floor space. Because the Banjo and Dobro figure into most things, I need them handy at all times.

At any rate, that is close to done. Then I found out Anne's computer isn't horse enough in a number of ways for the job at hand, so I need to swap it out for the big computer in my office, since all that goes on in the office is a car game and the spreadsheets I do research with.

Other than that, it is a go. I am practicing, sleeping, pretty much doing everything out of that room now. It and the living room / dining room are really the only places that have been cleared and organized. Once I get the bed out of the master bedroom and turn it into the guitar room everything will start to fall into place.

Now all I have is to deal with the learning curve of the recorders that I have, and it seems relatively steep at first glance. I need to watch the video again, and go through the first book "the quick start" about a 1/4 " 11x8 book again - then there is the manual - about an 1" 11x8 manual. :rolleyes:

Then I will start working on the songs that I have been learning...

I have been more or less keeping myself to a practice schedule, but it still goes helter skelter. I am playing but it is what ever suits my fancy at the moment so technique things I want to be working on keep finding themselves on the back burner.

All I know is that for a retired feller, I sure am busy... :D

Amazing what real sleep can do...I actually felt like a HUMAN today :)

Yes "DADDY" I DO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT TIME IT IS...don't you remember you taught me how to tell time when I was a little girl?

Sooooooooooooooooooo are you going to tuck me in now and read me a bedtime story????
