LOL - I know what you mean. My hair is sort of thick, and somemornings it takes lots and lots of hot water to bring it back into some semblance of respectability.

We had a lot of those kinds of skies up in Michigan. New moon... and tall tall trees everywhere blocking out anyother light. The stars were fantastic. One fellow talked about the Aurora Borealis (sp?), how it shows up in the winter time. I think that is the one thing that I really do want to see before I step off this rock...

Good morning George...

Went fishing in Ontario, about 100 miles north of Kenora on Lake of the Woods at a place called Chase Lake. Northern lights were visible nearly every clear night. We lay on the big rock outcrop that the cabin sat on and watched the light show right above us. Beautiful. Got a photo here somewhere. I'll see if I can find and get it scanned.

Morning Blooze , George and my lady Beam!

Wow... I bet that was something, almost like getting caught in a science fiction movie.

Mornin' Mav...

It was!! At one point the lights all merged together and covered the entire dome of the sky! Didn't get a pic of that, it was too engrossing to remember to take out the camera! ;)

Wow. I can't imagine ever getting used to that to the point that it would be boring.

"Will you look at that..."

"ach, it's just the northern lights, I seen 'em."

A full moon still facinates me, but not like I think it should.

Great pictures. Thanks Mav...

You are welcome! That one trip was the best light show we got. Lots of times they are just light wisps of light and color. Still cool though.

Damn, so many pages, so little time! I had to zoom through them, I'll need to go back and check out the pics at leisure.

Sis, congrats!! :nana:

Blooze, I cannot believe you got yourself yet another guitar

:D

Gotta run folks, we are leaving in 15 mins, going to see the 88 Minutes at an open air cinema.

Hey now! Welcome home Rania!!

Did you have a good vacation? Are you feeling vacated?

Re, the new guitar...
As we have been known to say in this country at times, don't feel like the Lone Ranger... I can't believe I bought another guitar either. And do you know what is really sad and sorrowful? I'm getting ready to buy another one if it stays where it is at for another two hours...:eek:

Uh, I have no idea what El just asked you, but the answer has to be intriguing...
