Yes he did!! I talked to him just a little bit yesterday and he sounded great. And happy to be home. CJ sounded good as well. She sounded triumphant. She'd gone out and dealt with the THEM and had brought her man home.
Frigid cold here this mornin'...
I'm glad you're going to be able to wrangle a little time off for the Holiday. It seems a shame to always have to labour so intensively during these times of the year.
Due to RJ's immune status, the Nick Unit and I are on our own for Christmas this year. I got to figure out something that will make it special for her...
Maybe I will make my famous Chili Dawg Supreme instead of nuking a Turkey TV dinner...

Your grandkids will be so happy to have both Mom and Daddy home for Christmas.
Food wise...well perhaps you could order something to go from a local restaurant on Christmas Eve and then just re-heat it on Christmas Day..
You have all that recording equipment at the house and Nicky likes to sing...well maybe you could play and she could sing..do a little tune together and record it for her...

Yeah, its sorta nice being back amongst the working again, though it keeps me damn busy, I at least love what I'm doing and a great company to work for to!
Hope all is well with you and yours...don't get on nearly as much as I used to, so I miss out on a lot of whats going on.

Damn cold!
Been in the teens....have to keep going out and punching a hole in the ice so the turtles can ocassionally come up to breathe!
And yeah....tall one this year...all blue lights, but pretty!

Hey Y'all,
Trying to get back into what is happening with all the family.
RJ home?... that is great news thought he was going to have to stay in the hospital a bit longer. Blooze, hope you and N have a great Christmas. We are not going to be around, or I would try to get you to come up and share the holidays with us. We finally got the mess cleaned up at work here Friday, so I'm finally getting a weekend off and Monday too. We are heading up to St Louis to spend Christmas with some relatives.
Beam, hope Mav is recovering quickly. Geeze, I have lost track of everything lately, I didn't even know he was feeling poorly. Spent the day yesterday trying to catch up on what I had planned to get done for the last two weeks.
Got presents wrapped, managed to get out a few posts, firewood hauled, broken lims and trash hauled out of the yard ( actually JG did most of that after I got them sawed up a bit) and was able to get a few letters off that were sorely overdue. Got the presents delivered to others (except for one) had planned to get up early and do that today, but the snow sort of wrecked plans for zooming here and there.
Look like winter has finally made it to most everywhere. Macx, did you get snow in Tulsa too? At least the daylight is starting to increase by a minute or two each day now. Give our best to to Sarge and the outfit..sounds like it will be a holdiday of rejocing at their crib.

Everything is going fine. There is a bit of an issue with all the steroids they're pumping into him, but they are addressing it.
The Nick unit has leveled out pretty good. We spent the Ice Out without incident, and we are both looking forward to the day together on Christmas.
Glad to hear you are home from the woods and not all a mangle from your recent trials. I bet you are ready for a rest...
