LOL - makes me think of my Annie and Me with a Pizza. She would eat one piece of the pizza and then wait for me to start supplying her with Pizza Bones, as we would call them. I would eat the middle of the slice away and pass the crust, the Pizza Bone, to her.

Pizza has lost its charm for me. Nobody to eat the bones.

:) $

thin crust...............no bones

Pizza BONES...LMAO:D

My old cat Snoppy would steal the pizza crust if you left it in the box...he would grab it and then run and hide under the bed and eat it.:cattail:Dam he was a good cat...he lived to be 22.That boy had way more than 9 lives

It was a year ago today that I first flew to KC...dam I was nervous...kept my fingers crossed that all the months of talking on the phone and on the computer would translate face to face in real life.

LMAO..ahh hell there was no need to be nervous...Mav wrapped me in his arms, kissed me,my heart had found it's home.

Now that is cool...

It was fun watching the two of you be happy together last weekend. Just as it was to watch El and Gee when I visited them. It is nice to have someone to hold and grow old with...

:) $

WOW......tell us what you really think!!!!!!

one of the worst hangovers I've had was after a Peachtree Schnapps Party.......opps forgot the Rum and Sangria.....

:D

It's a matter of personal preference, no? I adore chocolate, the more bitter, the better... plain or with almonds or hazelnuts in it. But no fancy stuffing for me, no pralines or strawberry or other soft centers..... and certainly NOT mint  :D

Speaking of growing old....holy crap my first born is turning 28 next week:eek:
The younger one is finishing his senior year plotting and planning colleges..good lord...holy shit...somedays I wake up feeling 80... Oh on those extremely rare days where I wake up feeling 40 watch out I'm hell on wheels:D

Our first dog loved pizza, she would happily devour 'flesh' and 'bones' :D
Only thing she would not eat was olives... if there were sliced olives on the pizza, she'd devour everything but those, they were left in her bowl, licked clean but intact

:rose:

Time for me to head towards the shower..it's a work day for me:(

Nice to spend a few minutes with "family" this morning:kiss:

The Fuzzy Navel Jam is made by Biree, one of RJ's Dialysis nurses. She has a sort of home business that she is trying to take to the net (that is the plan.)

Here is what is on the jar...

I like it even though its a tad pricey. A problem now though - RJ doesn't go in for dialysis anymore... lost the contact.

As for chocolat and mint being a sacrilege -

Harumph - thinking it sacrilege is in itself a sacrilege... Chocolat Mint ice cream is one of the grandest things ever. The mints on the pillow of the best hotels are usually Aspen Chocolat mints. Nabisco's new Chocolat Mint Oreos last about a day in this house. Marrs is now marketing a version of their 3 Musketeers candy bar... Chocolat Mint. There is a great big chunk of the world population that think Chocolat and Mint do quite well together.

So there...

:D

You neglected the Thin Mint cookies the Girl Scouts always sell.

Those things are a HUGE weakness of mine. The taste was actually the only thing I found to help cancel out the taste of the antibiotics I had to take years ago.

Sorry Rania, but on this we will have to agree to disagree.:cattail:

Heavens to Betsy!! I must have been flat out tired to sleep through all this ruckus...

:D

Good morning everybody!! This is wander off to the grocery store day today so there isn't much in the line of snackums around. However, we are in luck! I do have two whole boxes of the Girl Scout Chocolat Mint cookies in the pantry.

And there are some English muffins - and there is the Fuzzy Navel marmalade; we should be able to get by.

:D $

LOL - I brought this forward so you wouldn't have to go looking for it... read it again DiJ... :D

They only want that kinda stuff if you're eating it though. Pizza Crust wouldn't work in cat food because you'd remove the element of stealing from it.

We used to have a cat that LOVED Roast Beef. Mom alwas ordered it from Arby's. She loves it alot.(but not as much as the cat did)

One day Mom was sitting on the couch eating her sandwich with her arm resting on the side. The cat leasurely jumped up, walked across her arm, leaned in, took a BIG BITE of the sandwich and ran like Hell out of the room.

I swear there are times you can almost hear them laughing.

You should have seen me yesterday, peeling chestnuts and fighting off Kats at the same time
I managed to keep her paws off the bowl with the peeled ones but she stole several pieces of shell and chewed on them all over the kitchen floor

Strange what they get into isn't it?

Can't imagine she took them to eat, but sounds like she had funn playing with them.

Hey there little Bit! I been busy, like a one legged feller in a butt kickin' contest and the like...

Lets see, I went to lunch with Nikki one of these days, and there was some football, on two different days, twice each day!

And I got me a cherry 2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R and I been racing it when I get a chance. And there was some guitar playin, and some song learnin' and some listening to drum licks and trying to figure out how to play a bass with a computer that has no key board. What else...

Oh, yesterday I took the RJ unit in for his lab work. It was the first time I've seen since the operation. Damn, the boy looks frail. We laughed and joked it up and talked music theory - it blew him away when I showed him I could sight sing tablature. Or my singing hurt something inside his ears, one... Anyhow, after awhile you forget that he is wearing a surgical mask and carrying around a bag of pee in some designer tote that CJ had bought for the purpose. I sure hope things smooth out for the kid and he can get back to where he was before the operation.

And then I got all a-tangle with a new idea to replace all the other ideas I've had about how to set the suspensions on these race cars up and not have it take me a week of testing and driving. This new one looks promising...

And then, and then, and THEN... right in the middle of all that, while I was a hoppin in the air and trying to kick and not fall on my butt, the mail man walked up handed me the new issue of Flatpicking magazine...

:D

And the thing that really chaps my ass... I have been trying to feel sorry for myself lately about missing the b'geezus out of my Annie, but all this other crap keeps gettin' in the way...

:) :rose:

Hmm.... you know what Macx? I'm fairly sure that if Annie is watching you from above somewhere, she would be saying "Hmmphh, about time this old doofus that I went and married got his shit together and started living again"

;) :rose:

Not surprising! After living most of her life with a grumpy grizzly, the girl deserves a break
