Ten Years in BDSM Talk and The Café

YK brought my laptop up yesterday and one of the nurses sweet-talked an IT guy into setting me up on a live, non-filtered 'net connection, so I can get here:) This is "home" to me, third in my list of favorite bookmarked sites, after the two e-mail services I use (hot & g).You people are far from a conglomeration of pixels - you're *friends.* On the news front, I have an MRI scheduled 8/12, and an onco consult the 13th, at which time there will probably be some decisions to make concerning long-term care, assisted living, or hospice. Each has its good and not-so-good points;we just have to assess them and decide what's best for us. We'll let you know what's happenin' as it does.

And thank you all for the support and affection you've given us both!

Fantastic! What an awesome IT guy to do that for you. I bet he has done it for himself, too :)

Positive vibs being sent to you as you work through the decisions you need to make.

This appears to be a great time an place to thank you for your leadership these past years giving a newbie like myself a clear path to follow.

You are an outstanding elder. ;)

I know I'm an old fart, but "an elder?"

Tomorrow's (July 14's) first post will be the first of my second decade as a member here, and post #14,000. (Yes, I've been keeping track the last couple of weeks to come out with an even thousand to start the new decade. A little CDO {OCD alphabetized}, anyone?)

I've "met" some wonderful people here. Almost all of you have given me smiles and laughs at various times, and many of you have touched my heart with your lives and supported me when I was at down points in my life. You are all a part of my life, and will be.

Some of you have been special friends without whom I'd never have lasted this long here.

Thank you all for putting up with me for so long.

SW ~ From one "old timer" to another you are in my thoughts and prayers.:rose:
