That's a class. Kinda sounds like what I do every day at work. :D
If you do something you want to share, feel free to post it here.
Well it is suppposed to prepare you for the real world. I'm sure lots of people do that kinda stuff everyday.

I was thinking of beggin one woman who does alot of welding to see if she would take pity on me and help me Plasma the one piece instead of chasing it.(ALOT faster)

Well I would have to borrow either a digicam or a scanner, but if I can get them and if I have anything I want to shoot then I'll definately post it here for you guys to see.

Beautiful picks Copper! thanks for sharing.... glad you got a ride in. It's a rather grey day here.... would still be nice for a ride, but i've got too much stuff to do around the house and not much time to complete it.....

Take care all.... Happy Easter and chocolate comas to all......
I hope Easter was good. I didn't eat any chocolate, none. I did stuff myself with ham though.

Has the weather cleared enough for you get some ride time in?
Stay safe.

I do the finish, punchout, and Mr. Fixit work for a fairly high end remodeling company, so I have to know how to do alot of everything.
That's why I made reference to it sounding like what I do for a living. I learned alot from some of the metal classes I took in school that have really helped me in my job.
I am not artistic at all, but that class sounds like a lot of fun. It sounds like your learning more than just art. Have fun with the class and good luck on your project. :)

Moving to catch those  . Agreed. Riding to work sure helps. You're just gonna have to change in the parking lot everyday. :p :p
Just let me know when you get to work and I'll make sure I'm there lurking in the lot to take pics. :p
Its spring, this is when we try to open as many big jobs as we can handle so we don't have to deal with snow and ice caving in tarps etc while we get the additions under roof. Crazy time has just started for me.

I'm glad you brought Rolling Thunder up because we were thinking about going to the beach for the weekend. Since we are both taking friday off, maybe we will just go for Friday and Sat. afternoon and try to be back here Sat. evening.
I thinking about doing the escorted ride from the local harley shop, since they also sell rice and revy's, they will have a pretty diverse crowd. I won't be the only non-american and sport bike in the group.

Let me know if you want to come down. We have a spare room and we are 15 minutes from the Harley shop and about 45 minutes from the Pentagon where everyone stages for the ride to the Viet Nam Memorial.

Sounds like a cool job. I just got the course cataloge for the next semester so I'll be signing up for a welding class next.*Crosses fingers*

The classes are ALOT of fun. I didn't start out very artistic myself(Still not what I would consider artistic) but that is what it is for. We go there to learn what to do. I'm sure they have some courses near you. The teacher I have even does a night class.(Although I think it is driving him NUTS.........ok MORE nuts LOL)
The people in there are at all sorts of skill levels so someone can always come up with an idea or technique that is new for the rest. We also like to try new things, so if it works out(Or even if it doesn't) we share our experience, our input, our successes, and our failures.

Thanks for the good luck wishes. I just had to pay the teacher for the mold making so I'll get that back and then plan for the metal pour.

OH! P.S. I was wrong about the student show. It actually goes on till May 11th ,but is only open from 12-1pm. If anyone is interested and in the area you should come in and have a look. :D

Just waiting for MrsJ to get home and we are going to take a short ride, if her back is still feeling ok. If not, I'm gone anyway. ;)

Except when it's 100 degrees outside and up working on a black roof and not a cloud in the sky. I tend to pretty dark in the summer and wear lots of sunscreen on my bald head to keep it from burning.

Have fun with the classes, they sound alot better then the mostly biology and chemistry classes I took in school. But even those classes help on my job, well the chem classes anyway.

Well I love the heat. Heat doesn't bother me. LOL Its over 70 right now and I'm in a sweatshirt......well I still have hair so I won't need to wear sunscreen on my head LOL. :D

LOL Thats why I'm not going to be taking any of those sort of classes. I like something that can be subjective and fun. I've said before that if I ever had to get a job where I had to wear a tie I'd hang myself by it within a week.

I can see the Chem helping, but I would imagine the biology is strictly "Observational" use these days.

Bring on the Heat.
I've had the tie jobs, but I love being back in the field. I get to wear jeans and shorts (HaHa Copper) to work everyday.

Maybe someday. I gotta catch up on some sun first.
Speaking of sun, hows the tan?
