For the update. Verizon came through. They are taking responsibility. Wooo hooo. But dang if it aint tough to get a painted part from Harley. 4 weeks minimum she will be down. There goes DelMarVa.

Glad to hear that Verizon is coming through, sorry to hear about the delays.
Don't give up on Delmarvae, roll up in the cage. Once your out of it, nobody know the difference. The first year we went, I had a bike, but didn't have my licence yet so we went in the car. Once we were on the grounds, or in the bar, nobody cared, we just partied.
And you've got a good battle story to share.

i've been busy, but damn good... how is school starting off?

After 48 hrs of rain, I just wished we had some riding weather.
Looks like it will break tonight and be great through the weekend.
How was the 3 day weekend?

Have to enjoy this while it lasts... told low 60s on Sunday and rainy...
No three day for me... was lucky to get two.... it was still energetic and relaxing... just the combination i needed!
I'll think good thoughts for all... great rides all around.

i've been busy, but damn good... how is school starting off?

Doing alright, been a VERY busy week here. I went on the feild trip to the de Young Museum Tuesday and got some pics, but I'll have to see how they turn out once I get them developed since they don't allow flashes in there. I took some more after we finished at the Japanese Gardens that are next door so I hope those turn out well too. I'm going to try and get a disc made when I get the developed so I can show you guys.

Well there was one piece, that I hope turns out, that was just amazing. It was a sculpture of a horse that was made to look like it was done in grapevines, but was actually done in cast bronze and had a patena that looked just like bark! It was absolutely incredible.

I'm really looking forward to it this year, I need the break. We decided to stay outside of town this year, so we won't be party as hard as we did last year, but that is a good thing this year. My work didn't let me borrow against my remaining vacation time, so we don't have the entire week like we did last year, so we decided to stay at MrsJ grandfathers beach house, which is about an hour south of Ocean City, so we won't be hitting the bars and staying up till 4 am like we did last year. This year is just to chill. And that's a good thing.
I hope R/L stays good for you, and we do miss you when you're not around.

took a nice ride saturday afternoon from cap. city to williamsburg up route 5..stayed 10 minutes and rolled right back....lol

Have a great time. Instead of rolling in the cage and getting all depressed and shit I decided to get on the big bird and go home to Arkansas for the weekend. It was my son's 5th b'day on the 13th so maybe that will be a good pick me up that is if the ex don't piss me off to bad.

You all headed to DelMarVa think about me. Great news is the Harley guys told me today that maybe two weeks. They have been having some luck with new parts lately. Sooooo will see. At that rate I would have it just in time to head to the open house at York and be able to do Rumble Through The Tunnels in a month. Keeping my fingers crossed, ya know.

Did roll in the cage to a Patriot Guard Mission at NAS Oceana Air Show last weekend. That was awesome. To see about 40 bikes all sporting 3'x5' flags, escorting a red, white, and blue humvee subway was giving away and then to see the bikes pull in formation just in front of the Blue Angels was a sight to see. Well worth the trip down and Virginia Beach was beautiful. I have my sites set on my next move....
