Well I hope I can continue to make you proud of what I do. I get alot of inspiration and support from you guys and I really want to make the best of it.

lol NAH!, I seek no glory from my work. I just like to do things to make people smile. If I can make people happy then I've done my job.

That it is Love.

I've said for years that I always try to make people laugh everyday.

Its just good to see them do that. Laughter IMHO really is the most genuine emotion. When you do it your whole being is just absorbed by it.
 
For those close by check out the little Littogether that is forming. DC Littogether Lots of testosterone there ladies. Could use a little extrogen to balance it out.

I know it has been a while.... :eek:

Just came on to say hello.

We are heading up to Md. This weekend.

We will be going to the Harley open house at the York, Pa. factory on Friday and then there is a bike night in downtown York.

We will be heading to the renaissance festival in Annapolis on Sat.

We are looking to catch up with Joe and Mrs.J...Should be a good weekend!

I'll be back to catch up with you all!

Every Cloud Has A Chrome Lining

To update you all. Got a call from the dealership the other day. The painted fender made it in in record time. Got down there to talk with them about it and get a timeline and they said they had some bad news too. The left front fork slider was backordered for a month at least. I was so down. Then I remembered on my wishlist was a chrome front end. Now it was down on my wishlist of thngs to do behind a lot of things like pipes but.......

SO I went back the next day and not only are the parts in stock they are in stock at the dealership WOOO HOOOO. Gonna cost me a bit but for a $ 8-900 chrome front end for $300 my cost and get the bike back quite possibly this week. Only waiting on the nameplate stuff for the fender now. Wooo hoooo. Thought maybe I could convince the insurance to do it to get me out of the rental cage but that is upgrading they say. I will still push for it cause it is stupid. A rental vehicle at minimum $150/week for four weeks or $300? Duh.

So every cloud does have a chrome lining. Been out of a bike now for almost a month but get it back as good as new and even shinier to boot. So things worked out ok.

Now we have another thing in common. I'm going to the RenFaire out near Hollister on Sunday. I'm going to show my bronze piece from last semester to the Queen. :cool:

It would be close especially in rush hour traffic through DC. Going around would add an hour or so. Orrrrr if I can sneak out early....LOL

However, then I would have to add some $$$ to the trip for a place to stay over night.

It's good to see that things are working out. It sucks that you have been without a ride for that long, but like you said, every cloud has a chrome lining. Good luck with the insurance company on the upgrade.

Thanks Bro. Didn't know there were so many Renfaire people around. I've been going every year since I was 12. (This will be year 13 for those who can't count LOL)

umm.....Shall I assume you meant to say Renfaire DUDE? ;)

I've actually seen quite a few people who look like you. I think your look would fit in almost anywhere. :cool:
 
SO do tell EB did you enjoy the weekend's activities? The Factory Tour and York itself was packed today. How was it on Friday?
