The male half of the couple and I were talking tonight. He said he had no intention of asking me to submit now and that I was free to say no to anything with no hard feelings, etc., etc.

I told him I definitely wasn't ready for anything even remotely related to submitting to anyone, but that playing was fine. That sparked a conversation about what happened.

"You've got your free will back," he said. "Use it to make yourself happy."

If only having it didn't suck so much....

They seem like nice people. It'll likely never go farther than friends who play together sometimes because I just don't feel that spark, but that's fine. I could use both the friends and the distraction.

So the other night, I had a bit too much to drink and revealed more than I meant to to the male half of the couple about the relationship that was the reason I started this thread. He put two and two together because it turns out he knows the asshole.

But last night, he revealed something to me. He doesn't just know him. They're friends. Best friends.

I've accidentally been talking to Shithead McFuckface's best friend for the last month.
