See, I'm suspicious, too. The only thing I can't figure out is, if it is some kind of set-up, then why? Like, what can possibly be accomplished here by doing this?

My lack of ability to come up with a motive is one of the reasons I'm inclined to think they're genuine. But I'm still suspicious..

Assuming it is some kind of set-up, I don't think the motive would actually be nefarious, instead it would probably just be them being total asshats.
E.g. Your ex-partner told his friend you were an easy catch for a fling or something.

I have to say, I make the best vodka jello I ever had. It has fruit in it, ergo its health, and jello is great for picnics.

I might be able to make October. Or November. Not sure yet. I am hoping to get to Texas. Struggling a bit to get back on my feet after that virus/ monothing right now; difinitly my plan to be over there twice a year. I don't want to do the big holidays with family though cos they don't do them at home. I think we'll see how things stand in early September . Take me for oysters? I love oysters!
