Rose, but it's too hot to even register. I keep breaking it up with water and iced tea.

I am, alas sober. although I did have a beer with dinner.
I am about to embark upon 9 days of no booze.
Pray for me.

Do I want to know what it means to "dink"?
Very sweet!
What? You don't know what dink means? I'll give you multiple choice
A. It means I am typing one handed because I am playing with the other hand
B. It means I am typing one handed because I have a beer in the othe
C. It means that I can't see shit because I forgot my glass s
All of the above?
You know me so well
More than I ever thought I would, Dinky!
Time for another double
I just can't on school nights. As much as I love wine, I just hate the way I feel the next morning even with only one or two.
But sometimes I cave anyway. Tonight I didn't but I'm thinking Thirsty Thursday sounds about right.
No worries. I can't drink often. But after work I needed one
I told my boss on Monday that if I was ever arrested for public drunkenness, it would be his fault. (Or the inept moronic cretins that wrote most of the formulas in the spreadsheets I'm currently troubleshooting)
He actually laughed.
Any complaints if I turn Thirsty Thursday into Tequila Thursday?
The silver Patron is calling my name and it won't shut up.
Not especially drunk but maybe later, if I'm lucky.
My eldest visited for a week (mostly for her 10th high school reunion. How the fuck is it 10 years since high school????). Her other "job" was to sort out the stuff she left behind, after a winnowing over Xmas. Objective achieved, in spades! She reduced 22 boxes to 4!!! M was still disgruntled. The remainder takes up space we weren't even using, so tough! (The animosity between DD and M could have been cut by a knife. Personally, I think M was in error. Gods forbid I point that out, though.)
We still have bunches and bunches of our stuff to deal with. He's unhappy that I'm reluctant to tackle it immediately. Again, tough! It's forecast to be 100/110+ for the next 10 days. Neither love nor money will convince me this is an imperative task. I'd say "nor leather" but that's been a non-consideration for over a year. Feh!
Slave morale is at a critical low. I'll be in my craft room until further notice. Oh, and saying a few prayers for DD's job interview (yesterday) to come to fruition. It's a perfect job for her, and she will shine.
And...just for the record...I HATE being stuck in the middle of crankiness. It's just not fair. I love M, and I love both my kids. It hurts when M is negative for no reason.
