My new favorite local gin. Very smooth.

Patron margaritas

mmm, nice. we usually get a shot of Patron on the side then add it when we drink the first sip. It's hard to find a good Margarita, there is one place that make the best (and strongest) around, we have to drive the backroads home when we drink one

A gin girl? And you have moved up one more notch with me. I like the occasional gin martini. Usually vodka however. Desert dry with olives.

Yeah? My liquor taste is pretty diverse. I occasionally will have a martini, and yes I prefer gin. One olive - never dirty.

I'm curious, your preferred way to drink it is how?

Hi AF. My preferred gin drink is gin and tonic. I especially like them in the summer, but will sometimes drink them other times of year too. I make them strong, with extra lime and angostura bitters.

Rum and orange juice. Not the greatest combination, but it gets the job done.

Also, I love gin, but I ran out a couple of nights ago.

Hmmm . . . I like gin and tonics in the summer. I've never tried Angostura with gin. ~note to self~

This is the bitters I use most with gin. It's a highly botanical bitters. It's like cocktail alchemy. Adding it will turn a lesser gin into much more flavorful one.

Two other gin drinks I end up mixing often are Tom Collins' and French 75's :cattail:

You guys are making me rethink my drink choice tonight.
Gin or rye?

I like the bottle; I may have to get an empty one off you :)
I'll keep it for you DS. It is a cool bottle, huh? The stopper is glass and everything.

Thanks for the recommendation. I will look for it. :rose:

Gin. Go for gin. It is summer.

I haven't been drinking too much. Tonight I had a Dark and Stormy and I just wasn't feeling it, although we had hail, a rainbow and a beautiful sunset and ate in the beach.

Now drinking cranberry juice. Straight.

A large glass of red with the Prime rib for dinner followed by a chocolate martini and ima happy camper!
