My only brother was very sick with Covid this year. He's finally feeling mostly better, but he's not all better. I keep telling people this is the Covid winter of my discontent. My earlier coping strategies just weren't designed to last over a year.

Miss you guys.
Odd to come back after so much time and have not a single msg waiting for me.

I hope everyone will soon be able to get covid immunizations and the nutters who don't believe in public health measures don't cause this whole pandemic to have a whole nother life with variants able to sneak past our vaccine immunity.

I just miss hugs so much.

I got clearance yesterday and actually went into the office for 2 hours!

I have a feeling I will make a lousy retiree since I was going crazy here at the house.

I'm feel I'm about 85% recovered but Covid has created a couple of nasty side effects I'm having to deal with which means more doctor visits and tests. but I'll cope.

But...yay me! I'm free again!

Yay for vaccinations - may the distribution issues get resolved soon - not just for the developed world but for the WHOLE world. We need everyone to get vaccinated - I pray this year, but fear it will be 2 or 3.

On the better news side of things, my county reports having given 10,000 vaccines.
That should help. A little.
On the bad side of things we have at least 2 of the bad varients identified here and all of the kids are going back to in person school
