The Isolated Blurt Thread XXXVII: You're Welcome, Fuckers

I hate wind. What would happen, if all the worlds wind stopped? Other than wind mills and leaves blowing everywhere, what would happen? Maybe, hot would be a little more hot? Hurricanes would just be rain? Or maybe, there would be no more weather? I don't know, maybe I should do some research...
winds are the balancing act nature performs continuously around the globe, as it strives to eliminate the fluctuations between high and low pressure.

without winds, dust from the Sahara wouldn't travel thousands of miles across an ocean to fertilise land on another continent.
the failure of jet-streams would mean excessive heat and cold fixed in place
that would affect how things can grow and water supplies, meaning millions more people threatened with move-or-die situations than we currently see... the available land to be able to exist on would shrink.

and quite apart from all the above, how the fuck would you fly a kite?

Nebraska ia tough this year.
Pink your Buckeyes and my Huskers both had impressive wins today. Your team took down the undefeated #5 Hoosiers and my team beat Wisconsin for the first time in 11 years! Nebraska returns to a bowl for the first time in 8 years! I’m sure Cignetti thought he had a pretty good chance against Ohio State with the bye week and Nebraska playing OSU so close in the horseshoe. It was good to see him get his comeuppance. He’s been about as cocky as Primetime with winning. Plus, Nebraska got shellacked by them so bad.

That's the first time in a long time I ever cleaned that thoroughly. I even dusted my walls. Hope I can finish the rest soon.

Colorado lost today.

That's all we heard all week was HOW tough Indiana was and that they would beat Ohio State, most of it coming from IU fans.

Some dumb shit was crying on YouTube after the game. Oh how Indiana blew it, they did this wrong, they did that wrong. Nothing about us being the better team. 38 - 17

My response to him was WAAHHHHHHH.

I can get quite mean during football season.

Indiana didn't blow it, Ohio St has better athletes in every position. Michigan found the key to stopping their offense, in the second half of their game, with Indiana. OSU just implemented that. Indianas 1st drive, OSU was simply watching and making adjustments. Not an OSU fan, but it was good to see them kick the shit out of Indiana. Really. My wife was really pulling for IU, but I was cheering for Ohio St. Indianas coach got on my nerves before the game. I get having some confidence, but Jesus, fucker is intentionally smug.

I was also haply to see Colorado get beat, again.. I hate the way Deon built that team. Displaced all those kids that had worked their fucking asses off to play at a BCS school, just to have him throw them to the side because he had clear favoritism. I get it, it's his team, but it was just disrespectful to the kids AND their families. Fuck him.

I was very glad to see Riaola and his offense play well. They were due. As Nebraska fans, we have suffered enough over the years, it's nice to be happy for a change. I didn't know a thing about Matt Rhule when they hired him, but I sure love the way he coaches. If I were still playing, I would work till I was dead, for him. I'm sure, many of his players think the same. It shows.

That's my Saturday take aways.. I really don't care who makes the playoffs, but I'd love to see a BIG10 team win. Fuck the SEC!

Nebraska has had a rough year.

IU'S coach has been getting trolled bad. That's way Ryan Day ran that final TD in, making a statement.

Not a bad day yesterday. Introduced my 7 yr old nephew to the Chicago blues and archeology and he enjoyed both.
