There are Rums from every carribean island and they all taste different from each other.

Me, I like Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum (1749).

barbabos is the origin of rum (1703) , so Mount Gay which i dont like, is a safe choice.

Jamaican rum often is deeper tasting, likely due to molassass.

Appleton 5 Year you can buy at Tesco.

The 12 Year Signature is at the high street liquor merchants.

Diplomatico is another nice rum. If you want something a little sweeter, Bumbu is a nice sipping rum.

The Lamb’s 151 Navy Rum you might enjoy, provided you dont plan on being vertical again soon.

I’ve had the Pusser’s rum. That’s inexpensive and mixes great with tequila

Lambs is even more of a fighting rum than Pusser’s i think.

I dont much like spiced rum, but i like Sailor Gerry’s with Egg Nog at Christmas.
