I had a job one time. I ended up getting fired from that job. I didn’t contest. I let it go. Because I found something better and could not be arsed.

I could have sued that company for hundreds of thousands of dollars. Now, as an older woman, I smile and think of how many times big companies have taken me for a ride. Taken me for granted because they thought I lacked the knowledge to contest.
