The Isolated Blurt Thread XXXVII: You're Welcome, Fuckers

I was recently gone for nearly 3 months visiting family and traveling. Near the end I noticed the item on the breakfast menu "Biscuits, sausage and gravy." Ohhh that sounded good! A bit of home, perhaps? (I was at that time between Australia and New Zealand and should have KNOWN better.) Wishful thinking on my part. It was brown gravy on hard, dry rolls with a sausage link on the side. I ate the sausage and left the rest.
That is a crime

There is a half inch of snow brightening up the morning. Very atypical to have such a tiny bit of snow on the ground in January.

seems the snow gods are off a few hundreds of miles. we had 5-6 inches last week and probably another 2-3 expected in a few days.

for a short-haired domestic, Digit really REALLY loves the cold!

He's always trying to get into the freezer or fridge, and the outside cold doesn't seem to bother him one whit: last night it dropped to around 10F, and he went outside about 10 this morning when it was about 13F.... he spent hours out there, having a blast, running off teenage steam and finally came back inside when it reached a heady 20F!

I've never known a short-haired cat love cold like he does... his mama tends to avoid it at all costs and he's a born and bred Tennessean (mind you, not entirely sure about his father)
