The Lounge!!

I'm impressed that you consider playing Portal 2 to be a break. From my limited experience of playing it, that's a little bit like winding down after a hard day by a little light coal-mining.

True, I should probably be doing something that will alleviate my headache and actually make me relax.

I did actually do some knitting the first time I watched Psycho xD Really freaked my dad out.

Ugh can't be bothered to get AHS on >< I might not tonight, might just continue listening to sad music and do some melancholy knitting. Portal sounds like a good idea too actually ;P

Listening to Mad World (Donnie Darko slow version)right now, and feeling a little melancholy. Though that may be the gin, of course.

Portal sushi!

I know, I'm behind, but the stupid image location wouldn't load.

Why are you guys so melancholy? :( Cheer up!

I don't know about anyone else, but for me melancholia brings its own pleasure. It's not the same as sadness: more quietly contemplative. And everyone knows there's a weird psychology in that sad music cheers you up.

If I'm feeling low, it's Morrissey, Radiohead, REM, Elliott Smith, Nick Drake, Paul Simon that will bring me back up again.

Oh my god, Tess... Make a baby with me. A science baby. It'll be amazing.

Careful now.

Down with this sort of thing.

You'll have the villagers out again with their flaming pitchforks, demanding to know with what strange forces ye be meddling. They still haven't got over the time I introduced them to guacamole.

Your first mention of Elliott Smith is what got me in this mood xP but yes I too am enjoying it.

But HOLY FUCK PORTAL SUSHI THAT'S CHEERED ME UP

It's just turned into Friday.
I've been listening to melancholy bands.
Now I want to cheer up.
Is there a perfect song for this exact moment?

Why yes there is!

Neeeearly thought you were going to ruin your great song choices so far with Rebecca Black, but you have more class than that ;P

Haha. It's only because of the Tess-random, I assure you. Also, hi, I'm Tess! And hi, Starry. :)

Dean Winchester WINKING THAT'S ALSO CHEERED ME UP

Fantastic! Jensen has that capability, I find.

I feel your pain. I'm sad because I didn't get an introduction like a French noblewoman. But Tess is fabulous, so it's okay ;)

I cannot believe I have never thought to knit a Gryffindor scarf... I'm doing a black and grey one at the moment and then I'm going to crochet some matching gloves. But not right now. Right now I'm having quality time with GLaDOS the potato.

Ms. Serpentine, my own callousness affronts me to the very soul. If you can ever find it in yourself to forgive this calumny; this barbarous though unintended slight; then my life and all that it is within me to give shall be laid at your feet forever.

<Bows, humbly.>

I forgive you.

grins

I have just discovered DLC with Portal 2- a challenge mode.

becomes obsessed
