Still waiting for seela toes
well, creating stencils out of either vinyl or painters tape. I have a cricut so more intricate stencils can be done on that. Toner transfer, like the bathing suit one. Using a printer to create the design, then transferring the toner. Stamping, but also with powders and tacky adhesive (to apply foil) which I often find easier as some plates I really seem to struggle with speed, so something that isn't as time sensitive. Foiling. Going more abstract like tie dyes or animal prints where painting doesn't need the precision. I am planning to play around with dimethicone marbling and see what I can find that works for me.
That is so cool. I have thought about getting a cricut or a silhouette. I think I'd want to make my own stencils. I know people use them for vinyl a lot but I'd want it to make stencils.
I make stencils with vinyl, tape, or plastic. It is a hard sell just for nails, but lots of uses for nails... nail stencils, use holographic or funky vinyls to make your own nail decals and striping tape in curls or zigzags, word decals, nail wraps, etch metal or cut vinyl and apply to metal to make stamping plates. if you take measurements of your nails, you could also precut any art you are doing on silicone mats for easier transfer. there are uses for sure. I use mine for my nails, to make painting stencils for hubby and kid, kid and I do a lot of christmas ornaments and sun catchers, decorative candles, glasses, and mugs. etch plastic for those led 3-d lamps, engrave dog tags and keychains. And, of course, t-shirts, monogramming everything, and adult messaging on my panties. There are a lot of things that you can do with them if you think out of the box. I'd go for the silhouette cameo 4. I was team cricut with the cameo 3, because the motor in the explore was stronger, but the cameo 4 is the same price as the explore, but is much better and more closely compares to the maker, which is a much higher price point.
current nail challenge inspiration was African lace, so I tried to work in some brighter color along with an ornate floral embroidery feel. I really love the teal holographic with the rainbow effect depending on how the light hits it (color club angel kiss), hindsight, I would have ditch the purple and done just the teal to gold gradient on my fingers.
And yes toeskr, I will add my toes which are still painted neon red leopard to my thread today
Yeeeeeah, no. I don't really do foot fetish.
I'd use it more for other types of art because I love stencils in art but don't like cutting them myself with thin plastic but cardstock wouldn't hold up enough. Do something that would really appeal to me.
I love your new nails. They are absolutely gorgeous.
it is a solid use, most of the plastic stencils I make are for use on wood projects. And you can even use metal for making them for wood burning or dremel etching if need be. I repurpose soda cans on my cricut explore for those, so I can only image what kind of metal a cameo 4 could cut.
and thank you.

Umm.. sometimes .. those in the picture.. noVery pretty. Do you do your nails yourself?
Ugh!
Rotated the mattress this morning and basically tore off a nail on my first finger.
Dammit!
Now I have to get blood off the sheet and will type like a cat with tape stuck on its paw for the next few days.
Oh no, I'm sorry.Ugh!

Ok so you're pretty much making me want one for sure. Which isn't really a bad thing.

I FUCKING love you!
I also have absolutely NO fucking idea how you ended up here talking to me about this, in this thread or "AREA".
Also don't understand why or how all the playgrounders are here (welcome playgrounders) I'm sure you are all as confused as we are. Sniff around, taste some panties, look at the pretty toes, jerkoff if you want to.
Mehbe one day, Lau will actually figure out what posts and threads belong where.
Until then, enjoy your time in the freak house.
It’s nice this is still going. I just recently broke several nails so I probably won’t be showing anything until they grown in a little. Damned slippery car doors.
I wanted to test a new nail polish I bought today. It's a little more muted and muddier in real life than it is in the pic. I like it.
The toes don't look like they match.
Its a bit on the purple side for my hands but I like it.
