Glam Purple by Gina Tricot is what I wear on my toenails.
Not something I’d normally buy, but my husband saw it in a basket and put it among the things I was buying.

That’s a great color! I have a few bottles in that same vein. I like the colors but somehow I rarely wear them. They don’t feel very *me*, so they mostly just sit in the basket and wait for the rare occasion they get used.

I went through all my polishes today and organized them by color groups. It was so easy to find these now.

I should also do my nails, because they suffered a little when J and I did the impossible and hauled a 79 kilo cabinet up to the fourth floor yesterday just the two of us. It involved lots of styrofoam, cardboard, weird sliding and shuffling it about in tiny little increments. But now, among other things, my nail polishes live in the cabinet, so it wasn’t for nothing.

I didn’t find that kind but one called Color Grip Base Coat. It’s a bit rubbery and for the price, it’s outstanding.
I also found a gel nail color by Essence called Did you mist me, that just had to come home with me.

Ooh, thank you! I haven’t paid attention to that because I’ve only been looking the extreme last one. But maybe it’s the same under a different name, the slight rubberiness sounds similar. That’s a pretty pink, too.

I tried something. The execution is kinda lacking close up, but it’s not like anybody will be close to my hands so it doesn’t matter. From far away and if you squint it looks okay.

I mostly used a toothpick, which wasn’t necessarily the best possible tool, but the only one available.

I’m wearing a tuquoise holo-glittery-thingy that I really like in theory but never really wear because it never quite feels right.
Now I’m making myself wear it, damn it and it still doesn’t feel that great.
Daughter saw it and has started wearing it. It looks great on her, so I think it might be a skin tone thing.

Love the metallic lilac you’ve got going there!

This color is like that for me. I like this in theory but rarely wear it because it doesn’t feel right for some reason. I’m giving this a chance again after a long hiatus. I already got a spontaneous compliment on it so maybe the color is cool and doesn’t look horrible on me, despite it feeling somehow wrong.

But at the same time, feeling a little uncomfortable and extra conscious of my hands isn’t always a bad thing.

This gold feels and looks way too yellow for me but in a weird way I like it. I’ve been trying to wear colors I’ve bought but rarely used and this is one of them. It’s so easy for me to get stuck with wearing the same few colors over and over I get bored of them, so I’m trying to mix it up a little.
