It's all about your division. Division leaders get playoff berths. If the entire division is bad, a bad team will get in.I really dont understand the fairness of American football when the Panthers can reach the playoffs, and the Vikings, Lions, and Cowboys don't. Bottom line is they all won more games

Some divisions are harder, and when teams play in Mexico, Berlin and London, maybe that means divisions should be changed to make it a more level playing field and no longer be based on geography. A few years back in their glory years, the New England Patriots had a record of 11-5, but they didn't win their division and did not make the playoffs.
