The NEW UK Kink Thread

There's a customer i hold marketing materials for. I send a stocktake every month and for the last three months I've been pointing out that they're low on folders. In fact I sent her an email on Tuesday to say that we now had none left at all.

Guess who's ordered 120 folders that she must have for tomorrow for an important head office meeting?.....

Hi Lally.

I work construction safety. I bet I can beat the lot of you.

This gentleman, for example, was climbing onto the hand rails protecting him from an 8 floor drop to the solid concrete below him.

As you can imagine, I was less than impressed with his attempt to kill himself.

I guess the best I can say about my idiots is that at least they keep me in work rather than trying to put me out of it :)

I have that beat, I work with social workers!!

And god no, I am not one! I pick up the pieces they leave in their wake, of which there are many! :(

Finally home after the journey from hell....a two hour drive took just about four hours in the end....but at least I'm home, and not one of the unfortunates involved in the multi car pileups that caused the delays.

Anyhow.....I still think I'm in with the top trump chance with my tale of the teacher who gave me a photo showing the back of someone's head and asked me to turn it round so that the guy's face could be seen instead

But Malich's photo reminded me of hubby and me eating breakfast recently in a Welsh hotel which was being renovated. Our table was next to a picture window through which we could see not only the cliffs and the sea, but watch the gang take down scaffolding from the outside. So there they were, 3 of them, looking up and catching the pipes and joints that were being hurled at them from the roof. Not a hard hat in sight, their footwear didn't look particularly robust and only one of them wore gloves. We did wonder whether they were some form of entertainment, akin to watching a knife throwing act and wondering if blood will start to flow.

Morning all. Very wet and windy here - it's making my running a bit of a trial.

Husband went into a blind panic this morning when he saw 'MOTHERS DAY' online and thought he'd forgotten. That made me laugh :D So Happy Mothers Day to all the USA mums on here.

Off to see McBusted with the kids this evening so that should be a hoot. Hope everyone else is having a good weekend.

Morning.

Day of housework and internet starships for me I think. was supposed to be going airsofting but they cancelled it last minute.

If it's outdoors I'm not surprised. I ran the actual course for the charity run yesterday rather than the roads and nearly broke my neck a couple of times because it was so slippy underfoot. As it was, I lost my grip climbing over a stile and ended up with a grazed leg, bruised arm and slightly twisted ankle :(

sounds painful.good thing its tje weekend. get some rest

No chance of rest for me today! Day so far has been:
Get up and make full English for all except me :(
Take son to rehearsal
Shopping
5k run (new PB so was pleased with that)
Shower

So next its
Collect son from rehearsal so hubby doesn't miss a minute of the football
Make Sunday lunch while they watch it
Take the kids to the arena to a gig, leaving hubby at home to relax, so I will probably arrive back around midnight.

Morning all

Monday again. Hope your weeks ahead are stress free!

Morning everyone.

Busy week ahead here, and tired from last night's evening at the Arena. It was good fun and I wouldn't have missed it, but I need more sleep :)

Glad you had a good time Lally

Morning all, London here I come!

Got half way and the car starts making and odd noise. Stop to find the driver's side rear tire is flat and smell like its melting. Managed to get the space saver on without needing a six foot pole as a lever (which is what the last tyre change I did required) and have limped to Cambridge to catch a train the rest of the way as driving at 50mph on the M11 is not something I wanted to contemplate.

Hope the rest of you have a calmer commute!

Morning :)

Sunny day here and getting quite warm, which is a surprise.

Off to Liverpool for a big meeting later, and taking the clients out for lunch. There will be three of them and only one of me, so it's a bit of an unfair fight :D

Hope your car is behaving itself now, Mal. The one thing I dread is having car trouble when I'm on one of my longer journeys.
