The NEW UK Kink Thread

Hi everyone
Mal, glad you are ok. That must have been a bit of a shock!

I have been mega busy, traded in Bristol yesterday and will be at Birmingham next Sunday.
Along with issues with the small people, I'm knackered.

If anyone wants to pop along and say hi, look up the Birmingham bizarre bazaar, it's definitely worth a visit as it is the UK's biggest fetish market.

Need sleep lol!

Lally, good to see you back xxx

Good morning from Bournemouth. Hope you're all doing ok today.

Roll on Friday. I need my time off!

Hey ....( chews lip nervously ) i seem to have found myself here once again.

I hope everyone is doing well ( big hug to Sweetdaisy and Mal).

And Mal....i,d leave driving cars from the sound of it , maybe stick to flying the Millennium Falcon :)

Afternoon all and hello from a very sunny Bristol :)

Hope Bournemouth is treating you well, Mal, and hope Daisy is taking it easy and conserving energy for the weekend. And hello Catnip, Elle, SV and anyone I've missed :)

I've just taken my customer to lunch, agreed the next contract, been given the contract with another department and he's recommended me to two other areas, which could quadruple the amount of business. If I could high five myself, I would :D

...and presently resisting the temptation to flush the toilet while Maître is in the shower, because it is such a classic prank.

( Hug ....and high five :)

It is so good to hear people doing well in work , when there is a lot of doom around. Lally , you and Daisy are an inspiration for women and business :rose:

Afternoon folks, hope all's well with you all :) Still rushing around like a mad thing, half the day on site, the other half back here, and the wheels are still falling off!!! Think I've got the monopoly on doom at the moment, or at least a fair chunk of it. Heading to the dentist shortly, then start all over again tomorrow.

well, I guess I can't make a worse job of flying then Harrison Ford does.

Done with Bournemouth... and Guildford. Now in a hotel near Gatwick with the reports to write up.

I was once a dental nurse and i am proud to say ...the female patients were so much braver than the male patients . Hell...even the kids were sometimes braver than the men :)

I hope your day hasn,t proved too bad :rose: and you have managed to give 'doom' the old Heave Ho.

Did you resist, or were his howls resonating across the land? :D Do tell.....

Back home now after a nightmare return drive - stuck for 90 minutes outside Birmingham

My doctor told me recently that he is terrified of the dentist which I found totally bizarre - I think he was unduly influenced by The Marathon Man :D

Awww Mal, you should have said you were in my neck of the woods(ish), I would have wandered over for a drink!

I am still feeling wiped out from the weekend, hope I'm not going down with something ahead of another busy weekend. Mind you, the best trading day I had was while I had pneumonia, I was drugged to the eyeballs, barely conscious and somehow managed to sell 15 floggers. Perils of self employment, if you don't work, there's no pay :(

Catnip, welcome back! My tattoo artist said the same, women rarely faint, and will take a much longer session than men.

StrangeView, hope it calms down!!

Lally, I was in Bristol on Sunday, the place defeated my satnav, it kept losing signal, therefore losing me! Grrr

Had i not been balls to the wall from 3am to 7pm and given notice if where they were sending me before 5pm on monday i might have done... alas i was... and i was not! :)

Keep your balls off the wall, it's not where they belong!

Just saying ;-)

Birmingham is calling me. I don't know why, I have no fondness for the place, home of the most depressing hotel in the world. It used to be the workhouse, and I was unlucky enough to have been placed there whilst on a training visit.
Imagine a hotel where the walls are painted a dark avocado green, with very few lights and the most oppressive atmosphere ever and you are part of the way there. I checked out and went to a Travelodge!

Well, Today is leeds and Manchester so at least my balls are not on any wall close to you! :)

Got the first half of the payment from my insurance companies for the car, so the process of finding something begins in earnest today. This morning when I got in the hire car the window was fogged up and I realised how much I missed the heated front window. Only thing that might swing me back to a Ford! :)

Hope everyone else is doing ok?

Hi catnip, my wife used to be a dental nurse too :). No problems with dentist, just one small filling needed replacing, not a big job. I used to be terrified of dentists after having some bad experiences as a child, with one who had very little idea how to deal with kids. Through my teens, I went as and when, but once I hit my twenties, I decided that I'd better take more care and signed on with a young dentist that had just opened his own practice nearby, and hoped he might be more sympathetic. The first time I saw him, I thought I'd better just be honest and tell him what had happened, how nervous I felt, and could he take things slowly and explain what was happening. He said that in fact, he was a bit nervous about accidentally hurting someone who looked like a cross between an extra from Mad Max and a renegade from woodstock, so he figured that we'd better just work it out as we went along. That was around 30 years ago, and I've been going to him ever since :).

Had a mad day yesterday, was on site to observe some of our kit being used for the first time, due to be used between 8:00 and 8:30am. Then put back to 2:00pm. Then 4:00pm. Then 4:30, but nothing seemed to be happening, so checked with planning who said it was going to be 6:00pm at the earliest, so I gave up and went home. They used it at 4:50pm. Luckily it worked perfectly, so no issues there, but it was annoying to have wasted a whole day :(.

But at least I'm off tomorrow, so I can hide under the duvet until the little fella decides it morning and jumps on my head :D.

Mal, love those Ford screens too, you don't half miss them in the winter :).

Afternoon all :). I've been in Manchester this morning and waved at Mal....don't think he waved back though :D

My car has heated windscreen as well - this is the first model I've had with it, and I would be very reluctant to lose it. I do miss the heated seats from my last car though - not pleasant getting into a freezing car with cold leather seats in the winter.

My mum, in her youth, worked in the police force on traffic, and the given wisdom was that green cars were unlucky because they were more likely to be involved in accidents for some reason.

So that is the extent of my contribution to car discussions - superstition with no basis in fact! :D

Turns out there is a retrofit heated screen for an Octavia. might see about the cost of it if It turns out I miss it that much!

As of this lunch time I am officially on holiday! Wooo!

Woohoo!! Hope you manage to have a relaxing time :D Have you got anything planned or are you just intending to enjoy the 'I don't have to do anything' feeling?

Had a busy day yesterday flying around motorways for meetings. I'll relate the story below, more because I found it so funny. The guy in question probably means zilch to all of you, but in the hope that someone else knows who he is.....This is the text conversation between hubby and me...

Me: I'm in the cafe at Sainsbury's in Salford and guess who's here??
Him: The Pope
Me: No
Him: Peters and Lee
Me: No
Him: Diddy David Hamilton
Me: You're being silly now.....No, it's KIRK BRANDON!!!!
Him: Ask him if he believes in the Westworld or was he just having us on....
Me: I wonder if he believes in the Westworld :D
Jinx
It's a good job we're married - no-one else would have us
Him: I know. Sorry!

Ok, I know you're not laughing, but I was choking on my coffee by this time..

Nothing major. got a few days with my folks next weekend, might see if there's some last minute deal on a midweek away somewhere if the mood takes me. Mostly I just want to do nothing to anyone else's time-scale. Get up when i choose, go to bed when I choose and not have to do the 2am fling down to London for 2 weeks.

Morning all :)

Early start for me today - just called into the office to sort some things out, and now I'm heading off up to Redcar. The quickest route is the M62, but I always go the old school picturesque way - north up the M6 then across at Tebay :). I'll wave at SV as I pass Preston - I'll probably have time as I get stuck in the traffic past the Tickled Trout

It's funny - I only do these trips once a year, but the weather is always the same. It's glorious for the Bristol trip and teeming rain for the North East one. Perhaps I should have warned you about today

Hope everyone had a good weekend and that Mal is getting some battery recharging done :)
