The NEW UK Kink Thread

It seems to be getting to 'that' stage :( I'm giving it one more chance after this - if it develops another fault, it's going.

Morning all :)

Have had a very full on month so far, and it isn't slowing down!
3 more markets in the next 2 weekends, Birmingham on sunday, then the Kent fetish festival Saturday, then the Brighton Twisted Market on the Sunday, then no rest for the wicked, and back to London for the week after. Fun and glamorous it isn't!

If anyone fancies popping along to any of them, it is always lovely to say hi and spend some time chewing the fat (or tea and bikkies) as per your preference.

Survived my birthday yesterday, and managed to keep it very quiet :D

Big hugs Lally, that sounds potentially very expensive :(

The new EL James book is out soon, expecting the next wave of Dom wannabes to hit the scene shortly after. Please God, let her have researched this one better than the last lot, from the Doms perspective could open a whole can of potentially dangerous worms!

Yes, that's right :)

He looks dreadful at the moment - totally exhausted - so I'm hoping he'll be able to relax a little. He says that he thinks that because he's been working every night since Christmas, he'll feel guilty if he's not revising something. And I think he's right - he's going to have to readjust back to socialising and doing *nothing*.

So we are having a little party tonight, and hopefully I'll see the lighthearted carefree son return sometime soon :)

Good morning all :)

I feel far more chipper this morning than I have a right to, given the fact that I had a few drinks last night, but we had a lovely evening relaxing together :)

And the first proper sleep I've had in ages, too. I left son fast asleep this morning and I'm hoping that when I go home, he'll be looking more like his old self.

Hope everyone has had a good week xx

Morning all

Friday again and planning for a busy weekend. Got gamers over tomorrow to christen the new gaming table I built yesterday (managed to not destroy anything while performing DIY. Woooo!!) Then helping Daisy on Sunday.

Well, I say helping. Mostly I sit there and try not to scare customers away while catching up and drinking copious amounts of tea!

Hope everyone else has fun things planned!

Sounds like a fun weekend!!

I'm hoping that some time in the next year, I can sneak in to one of these fairs

The markets are usually not too scary. just folks walking about buying stuff they can't really afford... which will be my problem at the weekend too I am sure :)

Yes, that's scary. :) confident, people walking about :)

Edit...and then in nervousness, I get polite, so I'd call you sir if we met at Daisy's stand you'd get offended, I'd get more polite...Lally and G would be laughing .....I'd be red and flustered......:D

:D

And then we'd say "it's ok, love, don't worry", you'd be fine and we'd have a good chat!

I don't get offended. These days I just ignore it :)

You should go to them though, you'll be fine. most of the people at them are very friendly and the ones who are not keep their distance anyway!

GASP!!!
I would absolutely love to see you all!!
If anyone can make it to Birmingham tomorrow, it would be so lovely to see you :)

As Mal says, it's just folks walking about and shopping. The dress ranges from extremely vanilla, through quirky, to outlandish. Most dress nilla, with a few tweaks ;-).

The thing I love, is the complete acceptance of all, no matter how nilla looking or how outlandish, everyone there has a common interest.
I love people watching at markets, seeing people let their kink out in public for often the first time. Finding their feet, then having an absolute blast.

The thing I hate is label twitchers!
They come over, mess up the display, with absolutely no intention of buying anything whatsoever.
I spend my life straightening floggers out after they have been twitched!

Mal, really looking forward to seeing you tomorrow n it's been way too long. No arguments, I would really like to take you for dinner after the market!!

And if you called me Sir, we would all giggle, then have a cuppa and some cake, because that's what happens at markets!

I call everyone by their first names, I never address anyone as Sir or Master, apart from my own Master.
The formalities are within individual relationships and are definitely not observed by all.

It's a place where you can be yourself. Not everyone is confident and brash. There are some flaming eejits, but that's life! :)
