I am quite sure you would find the lectures a little different seeing there is also a praticle and interactive portion that places you in the time period as if you were and observer as events unfold. I have a very talented group of friends that assist me HF.

It sounds very interesting. Though I've never been a big "reenactment fan' I can see where the interactive/participation part would play well with your presentations.

Oh there is a great difference between Reenactment and living history H F. Reenactment concentrates on battles soldiers, and soldiers life. Living History emphases culture history of the period, life in general and the interaction between cultures. So you have French Humanism coming in direct conflict with the English concept of Devin ordained manifest destiny and natives playing one side against the other as they struggle to maintain their own cultures. Students become reporters deviling into the cultures and the view points of each group. 17 century attitudes and feelings are expressed and they are almost always in conflict with our present day view of history.

So What naught tails are you working on at present H F?

lol.. I never looked at it that way before, but I guess you're right. They are different.

I only have two active stories at the moment. What with Mari on sabbatical and another co-writer on a long vacation, Poor Angel has been kept hopping with my replies.

I am ok Mari writing ever so little I have had a few bouts of rather dark depression but once more on the mend dear.
