I have never solicited feedback or votes but after my last chapter which was 12 lit pages and took me over a month to write and wrapped up three story arcs got less votes and comments than ant of my recent ones I put a note in the story I just submitted.

I basically said that the only payment we receive here is through votes comments and feed backs so please if you took the time to read please take the extra two seconds to click on a vote. We'll see if that does anything.

Good for you. It doesn't hurt to pander for votes. The least the reader can do is to give us some support and feedback.

I just submitted my second mother son it should get up tomorrow. When I grew up in the North End, not only was it a closed neighborhood, as was South Boston and Charlestown back then, but it was a protected neighborhood. Unless you had a camera and looked like a farmer from Iowa, no one dared walked Hanover, Salem or Charter streets, unless you lived their.

Which the North End or East Boston?

Those who lived in Back Bay or Beacon Hill would have no idea the goings on behind the scenes in the neighborhood (lol).

You must have lived there, like everyone else, during your college days, while going to BU, BC, UMass, Northeastern, Harvard, MIT, Emerson, Wellesley or a few dozen other colleges and universities in Boston Proper.

Born, raised, educated, and worked in Boston, I was one of the few residents who could claim every neighborhood as my own. I had "friends" everywhere.

The late and great Robert Parker of Spencer for Hire fame was one of my creative writing professors. He hated teaching and was the first person to earn a Ph D. in detective fiction.

Robert was a boxing fan and I boxed with him and Robert Urich at the BYU on Boylston Street. Boston may have changed to the untrained eye, but the underground is the same as it was since the Revolutionary War. The tunnels that go beneath the North End may have closed but the eyes of the old residents are still wide open.

I did not grow up in east Boston but my wife did-matter of fact two houses down from Patriot Jermaine Wiggins. According to her back when she grew up there a couple of decades ago there was no trouble. Admittedly now that it is not mostly Italians there but the hispanics (who I am sorry but are the human version of Locusts) and other minorities it is pretty rough. The North end from what i can tell is still pretty closed off and although maybe not the same exact crowd it's far from gone downhill.

Well I am going to have to disagree with you there. First off i write in the incest category so am putting myself in with this.

Incest fans are easy to please. Very easy Especially the grope and go types that like stories as simple as "sis looked hot why not?"

Granted there are some good well written well thought out stories but all it takes over there is this:

I'm not dissing the incest readership at all but they are not as discerning as you think.

A 4.5 is the "standard" for an H. For me in incest I add .15. if it's a 4.65 I'll say it's an H for me as I factor in the easier crowd.
