I asked Santa for a flamingo vibrator. I dunno if the elves can cum up with something like that. What do you think?

babs?

I am multi positional as it happens.

And while the scourian impregnator has been called the big bird before he’s never been referred to as a ‘flamingo’.

"Oh, SANTA," she moaned and roared with delight!

"I knew I could drag you out of your workshop for some fun." The thought of so many flamingos in South Beach makes me green with jealously. You ARE the best, my dear!

Thank you!!!!

An A.I.R. Award is the ultimate expression of reader satisfaction as far as I'm concerned.

And so I would like to humbly and sincerely thank the hundreds of thousands of members of the ASSOCIATION of INDEPENDENT READERS who participated in their latest contest.

Yeah, a fake contest put on by a fake association just to stroke your own ego just about sums you up. A Fraud..

I've Won!!! - part 1

I’ve WON!!!!

The scourian view of the LITEROTICA universe is now accepted wisdom.

The thought came to me this morning after glancing through the Winter Contest thread. And then I realized that it had probably been true for at least the last six months to a year.

Of course it was impossible not to think back to the early years when I was the lone sane voice in LITEROTICA’S forum world.

Attacked! Accused of heresy! Hounded!

And why was I attacked? What radical ideas was I espousing that so rocked AHland?

Looking at it now most people won’t begin to be able to understand how repulsed so many were at what now seems so obvious.

It all started with a question I first posed to myself, and then later to the LITEROTICA World: ”But what about vote totals?” I asked innocently.

In those long ago days of LITEROTICA only one statistic counted: the story score.

No one mentioned the number of votes the score was based on nor the views the story had generated. Favoriting wasn’t even on the radar.

In those days there was no 30 day or 1 year lists – only all-time lists (500 stories per category). To make one of these lists you only had to have received 10 votes. Which meant that almost every top category list was clogged with 10-25 vote stories.

No more!

And you can thank me.

Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.

I’ve won!!! – part 2

I’ve WON!!!!

The scourian view of the LITEROTICA universe is now accepted wisdom.

The first time I realized that I could garner large number of votes was way back in December 2005 when I entered the story “Swimming With the Dolphins” in the WINTER HOLIDAY CONTEST.

Here’s the note I put at the end of the story: PLEASE VOTE!!!! If you don't I may have to kill myself. Just kidding, just kidding!! But It only takes 2 seconds to click the 5 circle (or some lower number if you must) and then click 'submit vote', and yet that small action sends very greatly appreciated feedback to me. Of course, I'd also love to hear from you. Your thoughts make writing the story fun. E-mail me or IM me or post a public comment below; anonymously or openly. I will answer back to all who leave a contact address. But if you don't have the time or don't wish to comment, please, at least VOTE.

Thanks and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

It worked! People voted. In fact, during those days when accumulating 100 votes during a contest was considered outstanding , this story received over 1000 votes! Never had been done before. Yes, hundreds were swept away by the QUEEN but over 650 were left at the end of the contest. A new record! (FYI the story now has over 2400 votes)

Of course it was impossible for other authors not to notice my success. In one fell swoop the dynamics of the site had been changed.

The death knell of the 10 vote “top story” had been sounded. It was only a matter of time…

There is the problem and why you hate this site so much and keep trying to tear it down. You have never won anything or even place in a monthly, special, or year end award. Those are the facts, the rest of your rant is pure bullshit. Incest has always had higher vote to view ratios than any other category. Since it is the only category you write in and you keep writing the same old tired Mommy, Daddy crap with flat characters and formula plots, you should know it well.

Keep up the bullshit and bragging, it tells the newbies exactly who and what you are and it's not the number 1 writer on Lit like you brag about.

I never blame myself when I'm not hitting. I just blame the bat and if it keeps up, I change bats. After all, if I know it isn't my fault that I'm not hitting, how can I get mad at myself?

I've won!!! part 3

I’ve WON!!!!

Two months later the bar was raised so high that it had AHer heads spinning for the rest of the year.

What happened? “Daddy”, I Whispered was published!

“Daddy”, I Whispered
http://www.literotica.com/s/daddy-i-whispered

Here’s what I wrote in its introduction: Due to a number of reasons this is the first story I've been able to submit in over two months. I just want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who voted and/or sent me comments on my two Christmas Contest entries in December. My story 'Swimming With the Dolphins' received more votes than any story I've submitted to Literotica and in fact received more votes than any of the other 150 odd entries in the contest – thanks everyone!

Please continue to vote and send your comments, it's the feedback that makes writing stories fun.

Here’s the note I attached at the end: If you've made it this far, please take a sec and cast a vote. Of course I'd prefer a five but, if you're so inclined and feel you must, I'm quite prepared for other scores. I prefer any vote as opposed to you not voting. For your information my recent stories have, on average, got clicked onto by 40,000+ readers but only average 200 to 250 votes. This low voting rate – less than 1 out every 200 people who open the story vote – is actually better than most writers here receive. Many stories struggle to receive 10 or 20 votes total! So please vote for this story and other stories you read on this site.

I dream of a story where 40,000 people not only read one of my stories but also vote on it... So?

Two and a half million views, 800+ comments, 300+ favorites and 32,000 votes later I think all can agree that our readers answered my call!

Three AHers committed suicide and seven had heart attacks during the following month!

August 26th 2007 12:37 p.m.

That was the next important date in the “vote” revolution.

It was the year, day, hour and minute that the Literotica’s All-time ‘most Votes Received’ List thread was born.

I just read the first five or six pages of the thread. I’d actually forgotten how the thread had upset the supposed “big shots” of those days. Many, many of them are now gone – ridden off into the sunset… good riddance!

The list in those days didn’t have many 1000+ stories or authors – the huge growth that its undergrown simply highlights how VOTE totals have grown both in number and importance…

NEWBIE ALERT

There is no such thing as Literotica’s All-time ‘most Votes Received’ List. This is a List scouries made up to associate himself with the real writers on this site. It is a fake list, just like his most comments list, his Manu award List, his A.I.R. Contest list. If you want a fake list, he's the man to see.

The only writers scouries lists have run off are the ones that ran away laughing their asses off.

Dear MANU, Happy New Year! And a wonderful, healthy and prosperous 2012.

Yeah, I mean you big guy.

Okay I know that I address this issue every year at this time. That I ask you to include some action on this problem in your new year’s resolutions every year. But if I don’t ask who will?

Below are listed the 22 HIGHEST RATED stories on the site over the last 12 months. Same old, same old – chaptered stories with by and large small vote totals. And repetition on the list.

I don’t like to pick on Ardella (in fact she’s a lovely young lady) but she is on the list this year and hence is the poster girl for the problem. Her story, The Infiltration shows up 7 times! Out of 22! It’s idiocy. And you could fix this problem very simply. Why not resolve to do it in 2012.

Thanks,

jim

Dear LAUREL :cattail:,

Have a great holiday hon!

And when you get around to making your resolutions for 2012 can I suggest you revisit the concept of the CONTEST CATEGORY CORRECTION COEFFICIENT (the 4 C’s).

Why don’t you make the commitment to make the 2012 LITEROTICA theme and monthly contests fair for everyone?

Here are some numbers you might like to consider when you get around to examining the question. They show the percentage of stories in each category that received H’s and the median score for stories in each category over the last 30 days.

Unfortunately the gap is widening ...The need for CCCC is obvious!

And remember, don’t drink and drive over the holidays – the world of erotic fiction can’t afford to lose you.

jim

The only reason scouries wants anything changed at Lit is so he can sneak in the backdoor and maybe place in a contest of some sort. For being the self-proclaimed number 1 author on Lit, he has never won anything or even place in a monthly, special, or year end award. Instead of learning to write and doing it the right way, he wants the rules changed in his favor.

Just more bullshit by the number 1 bullshit artist on the site.

It's good that scouries used his number 1 alt to wished himself a merry Christmas as no one else has.

Ah hell!

Merry Christmas Scouries.

Boxing Day!!!

Boxing Day is traditionally a day following Christmas when wealthy people and homeowners in the United Kingdom would give a box containing a gift to their servants. Today, Boxing Day is better known as a bank or public holiday that occurs on December 26, or the first or second weekday after Christmas Day, depending on national or regional laws. It is observed in Great Britain, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and some other Commonwealth nations.

In South Africa, Boxing Day was renamed Day of Goodwill in 1994. In Ireland it is recognized as St. Stephen's Day (Irish: Lá Fhéile Stiofáin) or the Day of the Wren (Irish: Lá an Dreoilín). In the Netherlands, Lithuania, Austria, Germany, Scandinavia and Poland, December 26 is celebrated as the Second Christmas Day.

Although the same legislation—the Bank Holidays Act of 1871—originally established the bank holidays throughout the UK, the day after Christmas was defined as Boxing Day in England, Scotland and Wales, and the feast day of St. Stephen in Ireland.
