Miami (36-21) will be making its NCAA-record 40th consecutive regional appearance this week when play at the Coral Gables Regional begins Friday, June 1 at Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field.
Since 1973, the program has been one of college baseball's elite with 23 College World Series appearances, winning four national championships (1982, 1985, 1999, 2001) and advancing to the NCAA regionals a record 40 consecutive years

The SCOURIES family of threads…
I, james r scouries, would just like to tell all the readers of my threads that we’ve brought another thread under the scourian wing.
Although not threadmastered by an employee of ScouriesWorld
we decided that the major SW threads:
the SCOURIES reader…
the 1000+ vote club thread…
the 100+ comment club thread…
the AVATAR question thread…
the A.I.R. thread…
were going over the heads of a certain segment of the reading public. Mainly AHers and comic book readers, this group was having trouble with many of the concepts presented. And so we went out and found a group of AHers who, under our guidance, would hopefully be able to distill some of the great scourian principles down to a level appropriate to their intellectual capacity.
Spearheaded by lovergirl, a chubby, dominatrix housewife and prolific author of comic books, the supervisory group for this new thread include:

During the month of May two hundred and sixty-three (263) “recent activities” (favoriting the author, favoriting one of his stories, or commenting on one of his stories) were reported to mr scouries.
Seventy (70) named him their “favorite” author during the month while eleven (11) “unfavorited” him for a net gain of fifty-nine (59).
One hundred and eighteen (118) “favorited” one of his stories while nine (9) “unfavorited” one of his stories for a net gain of 109.
Fifty-five (55) comments were made on his stories.
mr scouries hopes that he’ll have at least two new stories ready in June after submitting no new stories since February – he’s now working like mad! And it’s this kind of response from the LITEROTICA readers that is his true inspiration.
He, and all of us at ScouriesWorld, would like to thank all of you who took the time to favorite or comment on one of his stories and/or to favorite him. You’re good people!
