You learned everything you needed to know about a complex pathology, in half an hour. Snap diagnoses suck. That's why we (Actual therapists) spend months to arrive at a conclusion. We look for the right answer, not the evidence to "prove" our assumption.

Yeah, well I took a seminar on this subject at Quantico before Columbine. Did your search happen to turn up where the term originated?

The reason snap diagnoses suck is the longer you spend on a decision, or conclusion, the more time you have to make sure you get it right.

Occam's Guillotine is deciding the conclusion, then looking for the evidence to back it up. For instance "I'm not an injustice collector" or "I'm right, you're wrong." That's the opposite of scientific method. Eliminate all the research, experiments, and thinking to cut straight to the conclusion, like cutting off your own head so you don't have to shave.

It works, but it kinda makes it hard to think rationally.

First, Classification. Since you're a botanist, I'm translating this into the language you're trained in:

Kingdom: Human Psychology. Phylum: Male (On the assumption that you have a spine, and eliminating any Gender Disphoric Disorder.)

Class: Organized. Family: Cluster B Personalities. Genus: Antisocial. Species: Paranoid Delusions (Persecution Complex)

What differentiates Injustice Collecting from say Paranoid Schizophrenia is an organic cause, which I can't rule out. You haven't (Nor would you) reported any of those diagnostic criteria like hallucinations. (Those would invalidate you in your mind, and therefore your position in intenetz debates.)

So, that narrows it down to the behavioral affect of Persecution Complex: Black/White morality (Skewed) personal bias, I had to poke you with the Histrionic stick to trigger Narcissistic Decompensation, to eliminate Narcissistic Personality (Power-Assertive subtype.)

This is not "Evidence" in the taxonomic sense of measuring a fern's fronds to determine it's age. (You can also count the feathers.) This is Profiling, which means observe, orient, decide, act, and observe in an iterative loop. Starting with Organization, on the assumption that you're human not a bot, male and not a woman pretending to be a man, Organized mostly do to the structure of your reasoning.

You can claim to be a botanist, and a soldier, but without the scientific method, or the regimentation of either disciplines, you can eliminate either of these by how you respond. You didn't, and I pushed you pretty hard. To the breaking point a couple times, but way past the point where I had to use interrogation techniques a non-military trained botanist wouldn't have needed to tell a war story. (You're a tough cookie to crack, which makes this lot more fun than the run of the mill incel, for contrast.)

Once we get down to Persecution Complex, you actually confused me quite a while with your Identity. You call it Identity Politics, I just call it Self Image, this is your Ego. Not in the slang sense, but the Freudian sense of how you see yourself, and perceive how others see you. That was easy, you started out telling me what I thought of you. Never guessed right, but you do that more than enough to obfuscate your own self image. (It's a defense mechanism "She called me a Nazi!")

The problem is the Id, the subconscious, which was further distracted by the repetition of "Megalomaniac." Donny is a Megalomaniac, that's why you respect him. He's closer to your self image, but you can't see your subconscience, which makes it extremely difficult for a pathologist.

This is where Profiling breaks down. The way criminologists use it is to gain (Generally miniscule) insights into criminals, in absentia, through the evidence they leave behind. I ran it backwards, because I don't have any indirect evidence (finger prints, dna, a paper trail) What I have is You, Stimulus-Response, trial, and eror.

The trial is basically attacking your identity. Ignoring your reflexive defense mechanism, like calling me a statist, and forcing you Assert your Identity, repeatedly, until you made a mistake.
