That's the thing. They haven't. they have some more information now about periphery issues. but the answer so far has been "Oh, well you can handle that for now right?"

Sorry that I haven't been around much lately. I'm absolutely not ignoring you! I've just been very busy at work and on other fronts. Hopefully I'll get a bit more time to catch up this weekend -- at least, after we've visited Gordon's Garden Centre.

I think he's avoiding my rhubarb crumble...

Aww... I'm not, you know! I'll happily consume an extra helping just to make the point.

Ignoring and blocking are two necessary survival skills....

So far, I've only found it necessary to put one Litster on my ignore list. I now save literally several minutes a day not having to read through inflammatory tripe.

I like a dark doctor. Sylvester McCoy still my favourite. Bumbling persona covering a very sinister core.

I didn't watch many of his episodes tbh, I guess I just got the bumbling persona, completely missed the rest and switched off.

Not feeling 100% today - whiplash injury from car accident making my neck and shoukders ache. Luckily they want a takeaway so no cooking duties required. After which, bath and early bed for me.

Sounds like fun. I'm out for a walk tomorrow morning now which should be fun. Better than sitting at home all day alone feeling lonely.

I've held the view for a long time (even before the 21st century reboot of Doctor Who) that David Warner would be great in the role. He's a character actor with immense gravitas and he's been seen recently in Doctor Who -- he played Professor Grisenko in the episode Cold War (the one with the Ice Warrior on the submarine).

No, it was just before Chrstmas last year. Guy ran into the back of me at speed - hurt my back and shoulder. It's been playing up today

Oww! Whiplash is utterly miserable. Did you get any physio? Might be worth a trip or two to get things eased out.

I got T boned a few years ago, it shakes you right up. And being put on a spinal injuries board in the ambulance is no fun either!

I'm hoping for Chiwetel Ejiofor to be the next Dr Who. He is SO damn pretty. Never fancied Smith, Tenant or Ecclestone. I know it's not all about fanciability but Chiwetel would make an awesome Dr.

No pain so far today but a lot of horrible crunching when I turn my neck. Lot better than yesterday though...

Off to take daughter holiday clothes shopping today - looking forward to it with same amount of enthusiasm usually reserved for son shoe shopping . She's at the stage where if its not black with a band images/skulls and intestines on it, she doesn't want to wear it. Usually I am fully supportive but it's going to be very hot where we're going and she'll melt unless I get her something cooler.

Lally, I am so glad my kids are still young enough to buy for without many arguements. Just as well, I usually buy in the end of season sales a year in advance!

Yes I understand about the black - my wardrobe is a good 90% black so I know I set the example!

But practicality has to be the order of the day - for 2 weeks abroad we have to let go and parade ourselves in 'holiday' colours before slinking back into comfort...
