The "We Love the Lit Ladies" Lounge

I think what I enjoy most, is that the ladies can come and show off what makes them sexy.... regardless of what a magazine cover might say. And I agree, it's so much sexier to see a confident, liberated, woman. And I can only imagine how it must feel to be able to talk about the joys of sex without being branded a slut.... unless you wanted the brand in the first place.... but that's another tale.

I had a friend in college who wave very proud of the term slut. She wore it as a badge of honor. I also understand she was the best lay on campus too. :D

My best friend's sister is constantly trying to fuck with me. One time she will say how you shouldn't have sex outside of marriage etc etc and then I will get a video of her masturbating texted to my phone. I can't understand this mindset, and it doesn't seem to have a place here.

Wow. That's the kind of thing that makes you realize there are forces at work far beyond the comprehension of ordinary men.

Can I interrupt this little sausage fest.. I mean, intellectual circle?

I am offended by the term "sausage-fest". .... and at the same time, honoured to be associated with the term "intellectual".... I'll ignore the eyeroll and accept the compliment!

Ooh la la, big words!

I only had to google one of them! rofl. edit: And I'm pretty sure I used it incorrectly, in terms of grammar, at least.

Also, I've decided I like you too, Qsco. *nods*

I approve of your approval. Thank you. And, although it probably doesn't need stating, I also enjoy your brand of thought.

I am constantly amazed by Rawr. She once sent me a PM about The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock. I have been hooked since. :)

Haha, for some reason you three make me think of three mid-aged philosophy professors sitting around sipping coffee, discussing Descartes and whatnot.

EDIT

Oh, Constantine, I *somehow* forgot about that! <-- feels embarrassed.

Well, I did do a minor in philosophy... but 29 is hardly middle aged.... at least I really hope it's not. Now that's a frightening thought.

Well, only one of my bachelor's degrees is in Philosophy. My advanced degrees are all in English and Writing, and I haven't been a professor for a few years. :)

And I am not sure what mid-aged is, but I hope 30 isn't it.

Until I go ahead and quote "The Hangover":

We're the three best friends that anyone could have
We're the three best friends that anybody could have
We're the three best friends that anyone could have
and we'll never ever ever ever ever ever ever leave eachother.

:)

Edit: No minor in Philosophy for me :( I took 3 philosophy courses, though!

Double edit: *thumbs up for Qsco's re-approval*

HA! I used to sit around with my poli-sci prof and drink beer and talk about corny 80s movies. Damn I miss college. :)

I don't think quoting "The Hangover" disqualifies you as a philosopher.

Damnit, now we have gone and done it. We had a beautiful intelligent woman come in to talk and it looks like we have run her off.

Phew, I was worried there.

@Constantine: I'm not too worried. She knows she's welcome, and hopefully she feels comfy enough to join us from time to time. :D

Haha I'm here, I'm here. But I do have to tend to my thread every so often before it becomes overgrown =P
