Let's form a coalition to weed extra laws and rules from the books. One I would like to see erased is whatever law here in my town that allows the city's safety inspectors to go around measuring people's grass with a ruler and fining them if they find a weed or grass over 12". To me, that is a total waste of taxpayer dollars to pay someone's salary to go around harrassing homeowners about their grass or weeds. Who the fuck cares???

Another rule in my town is often featured on those lists of bizarre laws-- It is illegal to walk a chicken on a leash in my town.
Personally, that's something I want to see. Yes, I think it would be a fine thing to see someone walking their chicken. LOL

Isn't it illegal to hunt whales in one of the landlocked states? Now, that is just too funny. That law has to stay.

ANd I think they've only recely repealed laws which forbid you to tie your horse up near a bank.
And as if the various governments aren't enough, we have a home owners association, and at work the QHSE (Quality, Safety, Health and Environment) keep coming up with more certications we need to have. Tests are "can't fail" - on line and can retry as much as need, but still annoying and a waste of time.

I have 13 cigs left before a run to the store is necessary. I was debating whether I should try to go without after I am done with these. Unfortunately, my PTSD has been horrible, so I doubt this is a good time to try. Though, my cough probably would make it easier. hmmm...

Always struggled with accepting the reality that there are actually people in the world who feel it is their duty and have nothing better to do with their energies than to butt their noses into the personal private affairs and behaviors of others. Making issues out of non-issues. What a way to waste a beautiful day.

I mean, to me seems obvious:
- don't fuck with kids
- don't go around killing and raping and stealing
- don't kick puppies
Other than that, one's personal habits or pursuits be nobody's fucking business. Seems plain enough to me.

speaking of rules, I looked at a forum the other day and was reading the rules for this forum.. omg! this post right here, this seemingly non-threatening, seemingly sterile, seemingly appropriate post for a forum... would have violated their rules! You know why? I didn't use correct capitalization throughout the post. yes, ladies and gentlemen, not only did they have a rule against all caps, but also incorrect use of lower case letters. not to mention the text talk of "omg" which was also prohibited.

needless to say, I backed away from that forum.

Thankfully I remembered most of the poem and got it down and submitted phewwwwwww! Just something I remembered about a guy I dated when I was 15 lol Yes the holiday was good thankyou although there was no raving till the early hours of the morning this time!

Sometimes I find, paradoxically, that a cigarette helps when I have a cough.

Not too long ago my headaches would wake me during the night. Now I'm getting my usual 5 or 6 hours (maybe 7 on weekends).

I don't know if you have read about it at all but there are two boys in England that have gone back to school after the summer holidays as girls. One is 11 the other 9 ...... now I don't know a thing about the subject really but can a chilld of that age be completely sure? They can't have any treatment until they are 18 anyway but surely such a big thing shouldn't be made of it i.e all over the newspapers and special assemblies at the school to tell the other children that the boy has left and a girl has replaced him?! The other children are going to be very confused they will not understand and the boy/girl is going to suffer , children can be the cruellest monsters on earth. I was bullied for being tall and blonde in a school of mainly short and dark pupils what on earth will they do to this child? No matter how much they are told not to bully you can bet they will.
