Time to Cull The Government

Again, that's not what the director of the FBI said.

Director of the FBI > spaz on the internet.

And aside from that as a matter of objective reality and legal reality, not getting a conviction doesn't mean they didn't find any crimes.

Plenty of crime victims out there have become cold cases.

Just take the L and walk away son.....digging yourself a hole of stupid won't do you any good. :D
Let me know when you have the receipt where the Director of the FBI said he had convictions.
Better luck getting a receipt next time.

Without a conviction, legally, there was no crime committed.
WASHINGTON, March 12 (Reuters) - A U.S. prosecutor said on Tuesday his investigation of President Joe Biden over his handling of classified documents didn't exonerate the president despite declining to charge him, after setting off a political firestorm by saying Biden had a "poor memory." Former U.S. Special Counsel Robert Hur faced a grilling from the Republican-led House of Representatives Judiciary Committee, which has been one of the panels conducting an impeachment inquiry into the 81-year-old Democratic president.

Robert Hur could fins himself between a rock and hard place when Pam Bondi is sworn in.

Thanks. Didn’t press charges, no conviction, no crime was found.

No crimes were found.

That's not what the FBI director said.....

Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case.

To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions.

If you have receipts that any crime was actually found let’s see a receipt. I’m still waiting.

You assertion that no charges and no conviction means no crime was found is fallacious if not downright dishonest.

It's already been pointed out that many crimes are found and never see any justice, either deliberately such as with Sec. Clinton or simply because the crime was unsolved and the case goes cold.

If there’s no conviction, the government didn’t find a crime.
You stomping your feet, crying and having a meltdown over this fact doesn’t stop it from being true.

No one in this thread has yet come up with any good reason why any part of the government needs any culling at all.

This Department of Government Efficiency has no good reason to think that smaller means more efficient.

Report: 94% of Federal Employees Do Not Report to Work Regularly, a Blatant Disregard of Duty

Martin Tribe December 5, 2024

A sobering report by the Public Building Reforms Board paints a grim picture of federal employees’ blatant disregard for duty.

The report found that 94% of federal workers do not show up in person regularly, highlighting the poor service delivery and complacency in government offices.

I agree this will force entitled workers to protest and hopefully quit. Government is already inefficient and I don’t know if these people will be missed.

I’m not against people working from home. This could be a huge shift in society from the feeling of missing out on home life to now being involved with raising your kids, elder care, pets and working in your pj’s. I think this would be great for workers and families, terrible for commercial real estate, of course, but it could really shift the happiness meter for people. It’s less control by other people and more control over your own life. I’m for that. If your employer mandates you come back to the office though, you need to follow their rules or find another job.

The problem is the vast majority of the labor force needs to be supervised to assure productivity. Federal workers are no different. So I think the wise course is to tell them to report or be fired.

Hmmm. I understand what you’re saying and it isn’t that I disagree with it, but a shift from people being looked at as labor vs a person being paid for services is a shift I can get behind. Society runs, not because of CEO’s, but because of the people working for those CEO’s. If you want to keep the status quo, then sure, make things the way they were before covid. If you are more future and change oriented, which is what I think Trump brings to the table, then you are not only for the CEO’s, but for the American worker too. There are more moving parts to my opinion, but this a broad stroke.

In the end, I believe government needs to be overhauled and cut to the bone.

Being in the office isn't the only way to do that.
