Trump Triumphs

You eluded to regulations for the people, I just pointed out to you that companies creat jobs and that over-regulations kill jobs. I thought you were capable of connecting the dots. Democrats love to stifle job creation by over-regulation. Dems also love to tax companies to oblivion.
I don’t disagree with your above comment.

I thought you could connect the dots of what I was talking about. Some companies need regulation because otherwise they will injure people. I was talking about cutting things that help people, like stopping fluoride in water, or rescinding regulations preventing companies from dumping chemicals and coal ash.

If by "in the best interest of people not companies" you mean eliminating private property by turning it all into a government rental controlled by 180 alphabet agencies and 900 TRILLION PAGES of microprint regulations the way most Democrats do ....then sure.
Ok, I’m sure that made sense in your head.

He gave the working class a temporary tax break yes, which is more than the Democrats have done.

Not at all, I'm against the government telling people what a "living wage" is, something no leftoid is ever able to define.
You try. 🏆

Makes sense if you're not lying to yourself about what a bunch of totalitarian control freaks Democrats are.
Remind me again who’s taking away women’s autonomy of their healthcare and who wants to monitor menstrual cycles and pregnancies. Also, have you paid attention to the do over orange leaders pep rallies lately?

The only group I've seen recently say there is no autonomy of healthcare were the face mask Nazis.

I don't know of anyone doing any of the rest of that. Sounds like an MSNBC/Slate propaganda line.

Also, have you paid attention to the do over orange leaders pep rallies lately?

Went to 3 of them.....what about them?? Very pro individual liberty.....closest thing to a libertarian the US has had since Cool Hand Cal..#30

How does any "whataboutism" true or not, make the Karencrats authoritarianism and overt hostility toward civil rights somehow not exist???

Susie Wiles, a longtime GOP operative, will serve as President-elect Trump’s White House chief of staff.

Largely avoiding the spotlight, Wiles has been widely credited for running what was Trump’s most disciplined and well-executed campaign.

During his victory celebration in West Palm Beach, Florida, Trump gave a special thanks to Wiles for her prominent role in the campaign.

"Let me also express my tremendous appreciation for Susie [Wiles] and Chris [LaCivita], on the job you did. Susie, come, Susie," he said. "Susie likes to stay sort of in the back, let me tell you. The ice baby. We call her the ice baby. Susie likes to stay in the background. She's not in the background."

Trump's first appointment.

You're right, my mistake. It was Pennsylvania. Enjoy this brief respite from the years long banquet of having your own shit shoved down your throat by me and others. You're due for a momentary break.
I'll be just as fine as I have been. My temperament won't change

Polish Lawmakers Chant ‘Donald Trump’ in Parliament Chamber in Salute to Election Win

Oliver JJ Lane7 Nov 2024

Members of the conservative-populist faction in Poland’s Parliament clapped and chanted Donald Trump’s name on Wednesday in celebration of his landslide U.S. election win.

Echoes of President-elect Donald Trump’s landmark visit to Poland in 2017 where he was met with chanting in the streets of Warsaw were heard after this week’s election, when Members of the Polish Parliament (the Sjem) clapped and chanted ‘Donald Trump’ in the chamber.

The politicians, some who wore ‘Make America Great Again’ hats are members of the conservative-populist Law and Justice (PiS) party, which was in power when President Trump was last in the White House, but who now form the Polish opposition.

The World is happy again.

You do realize that comparing Trump to Coolidge does NOT make him look good? It implies he's going to cause a Depression.

To totalitarian government worshiping communist I'm sure it doesn't....and that's a good thing.

Why does that imply he's going to cause a depression? And a depression for who?? Rich leftist elites like Pelosi, Obummer, Biden and the Cheneys?? Oh noes!!!! How horrible for them, they might have to sell off some of that property and wealth they regulated into their pockets instead of producing actual value to freely and consensually exchange with others.

You really are an idiot.
Struck a nerve there ...... .... you know it's true that's why it upsets you so much :D

There is only one reason the Dems worship the great tax and regulation machine the way they do, they're DEPENDENT upon it. Without it around to force a bunch of participation trophies, they couldn't compete.

🤔

Why do government regulations on business / industry exist???

Because business was given the opportunity to regulate themselves over the centuries, and they FAILED every fucking time - often with monumentally tragic results.

🤬

Greed will ALWAYS overrule regulating / conducting business morally / responsibly when left to the private sector.

Government regulation isn’t perfect, but can you imagine what things would look like right now without it???

I’m old enough to remember when there was little to no government regulation of business / industry. It wasn’t pretty.

And, ironically, the republicans have been gutting government oversight / regulation of business and industry for the past 50 years. (Chevron Doctrine, anyone??? See also: The IRS) with tragic results. (East Palestine, anyone.)

More regulation, oversight and enforcement is required - not less.

If there is a national emergency, then some regulations should be suspended in certain areas (housing is the main area I see a need for streamlining at the moment.) but once the emergency passes, then things should revert back to the way they were. (Streamlining the zoning and permitting process doesn’t mean eliminating safe building standards and environmental impact mitigation.)

I never proposed zero regulations. You did a lot of writing for nothing. However over regulations is just as toxic to an economy and under regulations. Some regulations are essential but many are bureaucrats one bettering each other.

Mostly because there is nothing better than free money from institutionalized robbery.

The basic public safety/hazard laws aren't anything that anyone has any problem with nor do they require anything close to the totalitarian ultra-Karen state that Democrats insist is just basic.

It's the money grubbing, market mongering and parasitic bullshit that only exist because some Karens in an alphabet agency somewhere decided to use their power to force their interests at government gunpoint. Then charges them a premium for the pleasure.

And everyone who actually produces any value, or doesn't love being forced into wage/tax slavery.... is sick and fuckin' tired of it.

It Was Not Just the Red States — President Trump Made Great Gains in Deep-Blue Illinois

2024 presidential election Results in Illinois – via Wikipedia

The reality of a Donald Trump presidency has settled in across the United States as the undeniable red wave has washed across the media landscape.

A day after the election, Democrat loyalists on CNN and MSNBC lamented the popular vote in dismay. Pundits like Jen Psaki, Jake Tapper, to the inimitable Joe Scarborough expressed veritable disgust as working-class Americans dared to vote in favor of their own economic interest.

The opposition to President Trump shows an unwillingness to learn anything from the last four years. So far, they have doubled down on their racist, bigot, homophobe rhetoric.

Appeals to the ACLU for an NGO accountability campaign on the future Trump administration were reported on MSNBC. Former Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill was brought to tears over the idea that a woman, Kamala Harris, had to endure ‘such abuse’ during the election cycle.

In most of the civilized places in America the Democrats and their destructive policies and hate have been struck down by the American majority.
