TSCLT 7.0: Hemis, Harleys, Hooters-n-Harridans

To me, the big catch is that most of them don't know about the GMO,
because they also hate that as much as they hate eating animal.

Should I take this opportunity to talk about people PMing with their problems?

 :D :D :D

I would suggest you put up a wall for those troublesome whiners and dare them breach it.;)

I have a beef - animal, 100% - with the air intake manufacturer. The part looks great. All the bits were there. The packaging was verra nice. The directions were, I think the technical term is, fer sheeyit. No matter, not enough stuff to get lost on, so I didn't.

But the studs-n-nuts install system . . . be sure to keep a kid handy. It was almost impossible to get the Wat fingers in there to get the acorn (I hate them anyway) nuts started what especially with the flat and split-ring lock washers, too. They were M5-.08. Yeah, metric on a HfD. Translation: the fuckers are verra small.

And I did manage to bugger a stud, so I went to the box store and scored a replacement bolt and some spare washers. I got two different size bolts. One was shorter than the stud, and the next was shorter still. Good thing, too, because the short one was what worked. And the whole thing took about three times longer than it had right to, the cocksucker. 'Nuff said.

Funny thing is, more intake air makes the exhaust noticeably louder. Who knew???? :D

Home. Decent afternoon out.

So I read this thing about street bikes and low end torque. Since the bike breathes better, it's a bit torqueier. So, out for a ride, here comes a crotch rocket. Hmmm, 110 HP at 13K RPM. Translation: about 50ft/pds of torque, all up top. Mine's all over the rev range, which, granted, is 7500 RPM less than his.

He was fun . . . in the rear views . . . .

Quiet night around the abode.

Done for the day. Contemplating a nice meal and a quiet evening.

I have my Mon. projects lined up and ready to go as soon as I get a bit of shopping done.

Yep, day is done.

I'd go to read but I'm afraid I'd just go to sleep earlier than I'd like.

Then again, it's a bit later than I thought, so . . . .

Happy long fucking Monday!!! Weekly commute begins in a couple of hours. Nothing special, like going somewhere else, just more of the same.

Back to Lago. At least I get to see the architect's report this go-'round.

And be the junior PM's 'go-to guy." Because that's so much fun.

Coffee can be my go-to guy for the moment . . . .

...

I have that same cursing feeling when swapping the John Deere deck on and off. There is one retaining pin that I cannot get to or even see where it's going once I've managed to stuff my arm into the hole/gap...

It's just another manic Monday...

;)

It rained again last night, for the third time of the day (or maybe the first of the morning). I don;t think, like your job, that this is ever going to end.

Yep. Sum bitches!!!

Okay, we're just about packed up. The cat seems less depressed. Perhaps he's more resigned.

Or perhaps he knows something that I don't.

Anyway, off to see the weasels . . . .

I'm thinking about new calipers for the truck. Red ones. It doesn't need new calipers, but the truck is grey and I think red ones would add a bit of flash. Like when you see pokies on a business woman's blouse.

Paint em? Powder coat em?

...I live in a disposable society. It's easier just to buy new ones.

If you can find someone that can do it in a timely manner. (Or are willing to pay through the nose for a rush job.)
