Another receiver DONE!!! This machine work went a lot smoother. There are a couple of warts but they'll come out with my handy-dandy Dremel tool. Got the parts on order for the build as well. Now that I've identified the gotcha's time to move on to the AR-10.

T'Storms rolling in. Maybe it'll rain here, maybe not. Either way it'll bring a cool down for the evening.

Congrats on the completed receiver. I know that sense of satisfaction, and of the feeling of accomplishment from having gotten a system "down." Wat is all about systems.


Went out with the mentoree-person tonight to see some folks and then to visit. It was quite the nice outing. I need these people more than they need me sometimes.

Thx. I learned all sorts of minutia not covered in the general instructions. Primarily related to the types of end mills to be used. (I blew over $100 in end mills before I hit on the right recipe.)
