Happy Thursday!!!

Sleep was a bit of an issue last night. Good thing is, I did fall back asleep and was sawing serious timber when the alarm went off. So I reckon it could be worse.

Looks like we get a decent chance of t-storms all day long. I reckon the concrete boys won't get much done today in this stuff. They have some miscellaneous repairs to attend to.

Same for the new stripes in the parking lot, too, I reckon . . . .

Good morning. I did a little sleeping in myself today.

No monsoony activity forecast for here until Sun.

One forecaster says rain begins around 9 and another says 11.

They agree on the important bit: it's going to rain this morning and rain is likely all afternoon.

I've got my plan for the day laid out. Just need to keep my eyes peeled for possible derailments.

They're forecasting the possibility of hitting the century mark today. First time this year and later than usual. Planned around that too, get my running around done early.

You guys have been busy posting again, sometimes it's hard to keep up.
It's going to be toasty for a few days so the ac's are cranked
and the coffee is flowing.

It's a real scorcher out there today. 98F as I type this. If it don't fit in the microwave it isn't going to get cooked tonight.

Home/Scrotel13. Grazing. Can't be arsed - really.

Oh what a day Dad had. Too much of nothing good. I even had to take TURRuh on a tour of a crawl space with the water leak. From the first of the month. The one he ignored. Today, he agreed.

Allah be praised.

Hell, Wat was even nice and helpful toward him, too.

A gynecologist had a burning desire to change careers and become a mechanic. So she found out from her local tech college what was involved, signed up for evening classes and attended diligently, learning all she could. When time for the practical exam approached, she prepared carefully for weeks, and completed the exam with tremendous skill.

When the results came back, she was surprised to find that she had obtained a mark of 150%. Fearing an error, she called the instructor, saying "I don't want to appear ungrateful for such an outstanding result, but I wondered if there had been an error which needed adjusting."

The instructor said, "During the exam, you took the engine apart perfectly, which was worth 50% of the total mark. You put the engine back together again perfectly, which is also worth 50% of the mark. I gave you an extra 50% because you did all of it THROUGH the carburetor . . . ."

I take it that the leak is finally going to get some attention. And this set things back how long?

Surf and turf tonight. Oh, and I learned that I don't have nuking a potato down pat. Have to work on the technique.

You live an exciting life, Ismale.

Me, either, on the taters.

Honestly, it's short-time, really. I have three more crawls to check tomorrow. One should be okay. I just want to look at something else, you know?

On the way back here, I passed a truck-n-trailer with a really sweet-looking Deluxe on it. Not as sweet as mine, but it'd do in a pinch . . . .

I reckon it's off to read time, followed by Allah knows what will pass for a night's sleep.

He said if it didn't fit in the microwave, it wasn't happening. Now he says he's having surf n turf. Who dafuq nukes steak and lobster?
Of course, it's probably salsbury steak and farmed tilapia.

Happy Friday!!! And it feels a bit like it took its sweet-ass time getting here.

Looks like triple digits at home this weekend but only 80s up here. This is why folks moved here from the flatlands, or the wealthy one had mountain houses for the summer.

So, weekend plans can remain up in the air.

This morning's coffee seems to hit the spot exceptionally.
