Feeling rather up to speed on this place. Close as I can tell, there isn't much rhyme or reason to the numbering system of the units, but I'll learn them as I go. I have the first 40 down, so that'll hold me for August.

Gonna get my feet wet here on the new gig today. That'll last until lunchtime. Then I'll saddle up and go to the old job and make sure our crawlspace power vent system (window fans) are all in place and venting. Then I can call the insulators and we can sort out getting the vapor barrier finished. And then Wat may leave until the Final Walk which will happen in September.


Sounds like a kind of Final Solution to me . . . .


I think we get rain at home. Oh boy . . . .

Yes, repair is like the will of Allah being fulfilled according to prophesy. It means that Wat can get his work finished and that we can leave that place/job in the rear view mirror and not even watch it get smaller as we speed away. Did I mention the vastly better energy that the new place has? It's like being in Islamic Paradise, the only thing missing being the 72 crack whores.


Gotta check the weather and the bank book. Biking may be a damp proposition today. We'll see.


And I should go to see Mom for lunch. It's been a couple of weeks.

I'm gong to go do some light shopping this AM myself. The weather God bypassed this location yesterday but there's a whole week of wet forecast so I'm sure my turn will come. If it rains I have an excuse not to mow the lawn but the lawn really needs to be mowed. I'm of two minds on that.

And there's reloading to be done, lots of reloading.

Slow night at work, laundry is almost done. Shucks, I may even cook today. The sun is out and it's a beautiful day.
I hadn't been happy with the weight on one of the horses, and for what he'd been eating, he should have looked like a Hippo. So, I dosed him again with wormer about 10 days ago, and his weigh has picked up. I now am much happier with how he's looking.

Got my shopping done. Made an appt. to get my tires rotated and balanced as well.

Going to break my fast here in a little bit and then start the reloading process. 300 rds should keep me going for a bit. I had shot my stash down to 350 +/-, so it was time.

I keep wanting to pick up a shotgun reloading press but the target/field loads are so damn cheap that it's hard to justify. I really should anyway - just in case.
