Twenty Somethings

I guess I'll throw my hat into the ring. Looks like this thread needs more than the same 3 or 4 posters anyway. Yay for being a twentysomething!

So how does one help someone get rid of a "Viegin" label....make them eat meat or something?

Ok bad joke....(ducks stuff being thrown)

*Steps up to the microphone and clears his throat before speaking*

The correct spellings are: "virgin" and "vegan"

The definitions, according to Crow, are:

virgin: A person who hasn't had sex, is

vegan: A person who doesn't eat meat, or prefers eating vegetables. If one must eat meat, then they prefer eating fish or pork.

*Clears his throat and steps back into the shadows away from the microphone*

Does this mean you still have that pm I sent you?

*Takes off running down the street shouting* There's still hope, people! There's still hope!

LOL....Leave poor Gemini alone...he's not the first person to make a typo around here....

sorry but I have to correct this a bit.

A vegetarian is a person who does not eat meat. there are different "types" of vegetarians, some of whom eat fish, others even eat poultry (sp? i mean like chicken). I have never heard of a vegetarian eating pork.

A vegan is someone who does not consume any animal products. That is, additionally to not eating meat (nor fish nor chicken) this person won't eat eggs or milk products either (which includes for example no baked goods that contain eggs or milk. it also includes no milk chocolate. there are special vegan chocolates but they are expensive.) and usually won't use any leather products either. etc.

sorry to be all correcting here, but since i have quite a few vegetarian friends and used to have a lot of vegan friends, i felt they'd want me to correct, hehe...

hello... so, what to ask... hm, where in australia are you from, and why do you rather want to return there than stay in canada? (because i personally always like to be as far from home as possible... then again, the longest i have ever been away at once was a year.)

Okay. that is the last time I post without my glasses.

While you go find your glasses, I'll go whisper sweet nothings to MyOwn. :D

That is if I can think of anything good enough. Any ideas? lol

I'm from Bondi Beach, just outside of Sydney. One of the most beautiful places I've ever seen on this earth.

I want to return to Australia because I feel as though I fit in much better there than I do here in Canada. It's more my lifestyle, and more my pace. I can find and do seemingly anything at all I want to do there, and my best friends are all in Sydney waiting for my return. I'm anxious to get back to my surfing and cheering on the local Rugby team (GO THE ROOSTERS!!). Sure Canada is nice and all, but it's like the Quantas commercial sings "I still call Australia home".

ah ok... i have been to bondi beach but only for a couple of hours... that was in april and i had just returned from darwin, so i found it quite cold, mainly... but nice anyway... personally i usually am the happier the further away i am from home, i guess i prefer to be the weird foreigner (a status that can give a certain freedom) over fitting in... but i guess i might also miss home after a certain time... how long have you been to canada?

I wish I could travel instead of being in class. Oh well

Not to be harsh, but that's easy. Just get off your ass, get in the car, and go somewhere. ;) :D
