The way of life is different everywhere. Economy is all fucked up everywhere.

He keeps ragging me to go to a freakin' college where I live on campus. I don't wanna freakin' live at a damned college. I don't get along with the world as it is, I highly doubt living at college is going to help me any.

Oh, his son and oldest daughter are both in college, working full-time jobs, blah, blah, blah... they even have relationships. Whoop-de-fucking-do!!! Gawd, the world is not fuckin' perfect and even I can't have everything that I want.

Ah, who am I kidding. I have no freakin' skills. I can write, and I can play video games, but dannit... nothing of a "trade" sorts. I'm going to go for that forklift operators card and I'm gonna get it, damnit. I'll just do that while I plan out my college degree, and what I want to do in life. I wanna be successful. I wanna show the bastards who think they're all high and mighty and better than me that I can be just as good as them.
 
Don't listen to those who would put you down Crow. I just found yesterday I have to do one more year. So I'll be a 3rd semester senior when I graduate. I have come a long way. Stay and I hope you get that card.
 
yes well in the end it's only you who can live your life, and you can only do it in your own way. so if you do things differently to others, that's your thing, and you shouldn't listent to them tell you what you should do. i am sure you have lots of skills - skills are usually more about interest and passion than actual skills anyway. it's more about finding something you want to be good at, and then working at it. so don't listen to those who put you down, but rather find something you really want to do... that takes time, but once you found it it's worth it...
 
Well the forklift class starts in 5 days and I haven't even been registered yet. The stupid counselor won't return my calls concerning some issues about the class. I may still be able to get into the class, I'm not sure. Hopefully I can, otherwise I'll have to wait until middle of June for the next class.

Well, I'm off to bed. I worked til 6 AM, but I was at the job til about 8 AM because I had to wait for the manager. After discussing the things I needed to discuss with her, I still stayed there because she wanted to let us know about a few changes. We're gonna have a meeting next week where she's going to go over them with everybody. Bleh, I'm tired... Nighters, or good morning in this case.
 
well good luck. hm, if they don't return the calls, is there some way to get through to them? do they have hours that are for answering questions so if you call at that time you get them on the phone?
 
*sighs* Nice day outside and I'm trapped with papers to do. Typical thing for a college students.
 
Yeah, it is a really nice day... We had about 4 of them so far. Of course, two or 3 of them started or ended with rain. Today was a BBQ thing at the Rescue house where my step-cuz works, but because I worked 3rd shift last night, I couldn't make it. Would've wanted to, but I slept like a log. Of course, I still feel like sleeping, but I already slept 8 hours, so I'm prolly not gonna sleep for awhile yet. Make sure I get some more sleep before work though.
 
here it was nice today and i went actually outside. i was even in a forest today.

Although I get what you mean by "see above" Muna, I have to look down. And believe me, I love looking down. Only if I could see more of looking down there... :D

I knew what she was saying... Can't a guy have any fun around here? I just wanna hit on lovely ladies and have a change of attitude for a change.

Anyhow, my forklift operator class starts tomorrow night. I got in. Just 2 days a week for 2 weeks, then I get an operators card, hopefully.

I'm off to bed now. Really tired.

So yeah, I got in, had my first class tonight. It was a good class. I'm sure this class will be easy. Can't wait til Thursday when we get to first drive them. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to get the license early. I dunno. I'll prolly most likely just take the whole 4 days... might learn a lot more than I expect.
 
Don't hurt anyone with that forklift, Crow. Maybe I should stop thinking of the Flintstones here. Damn my brain for refernecing cartoons at random times.
