I was worried that I had missed a LOT over the holidays but it looks like everyone has scampered off!
I'll wait for your post and then chime in.
I love that we're in a tavern with ale and dead bodies and here we are debating a fantasy world's theology.
Ah, he's happy to "fall for" the trick. Even though Diva'ss may not be Jon's "Miss Right", he's more than happy to make sure she feels like a valid person and all that. Now, I dunno if this is supposed to be a romance-based thing, or if our characters are just gonna all be having casual sex at various points, but if things DO turn romantic, perhaps we might wish to discuss it beforehand so even though things will seem organic on the thread, we can sort of plan things out OOC so that we know where all we're going. I myself would like to see Jon get a steady girlfriend out of this, even if it takes one or two flings to get there.

Tusk would be reluctant to have a fling with any of the ladies (or gents, like THAT'S gonna happen!) though he would very much like to. Ultimately, however, he's looking for something reasonably long term.
Also, let's remember that NPC's are always fuckable!
For future reference the monster I'm thinking will attack the Silverpike will be something I'm smushing up together to fit what I wanted but not finding any real contenders for it in the monster manual that fit my theme of a storm based monster.
So I'm homebrewing up a Storm Serpent that floats and flows on the gusting winds of the storm sorta like we see shinron (the dragon in Dragonball Z) but a smaller more medium sized creature. I'm using the stat block for the Couatl in the monster manual, but with different abilities I'm inventing for it.
A thunderous roar: If I was DMing this battle once this creature unleashes this attack everyone would have to perform a constitution check and if they fail they suffer the same effect as if they were struck by a monk's stunning strike until the end of the storm serpent's next turn.
Stormgust Wingflap: The storm serpent flaps its wings with such force it accelerates the already present stormwinds within the storm it lives in to a sudden and brief hurricane force windspeed. Any creature within a thirty foot cone would make a strength saving throw or be knocked back 15 feet and knocked prone.
Lightning breath (borrowing this from the Behir) The Storm Serpent exhales a line of lightning 20 feet long and 5 feet wide. Everyone caught within this line would have to make a dexterity saving throw. If they succeed they take half damage.
Then summon elemental (for minions): It can summon: an air elemental from the frenzied storm winds of the storm it lives within, a water elemental from the rainwater of the storm clouds above. and a lightning elemental from the crazed pealing lightning within the stormclouds it lives within.
The good news is that it won't have a lot of hit points but it does have a very good AC.
it'll have up to two air elementals, two water elementals, and one lightning elemental as minions for the melee fighters to tangle with as the storm serpent would swooping around in the air.
Anyway I'm not a DM, and this is the first time I've ever done anything like this. So I have no idea if this thing is balanced or a tpk waiting to happen. Fortunately we're not rolling dice so we can construct the narrative where if this thing is too powerful we can write a compelling fight where despite the odds we can overcome this daunting monster.
Also when the fight will happen will be at the height of the storm. It isn't a hurricane but it will not be a gentle summer thundershower you guys will be fighting during. So if I was dming I'd treat this as if it's on difficult terrain. So in this battle I'd cut in half your movement speeds as you struggle against the strong winds to move around and maybe roll with disadvantage on all your attacks as the wind and steady downpour of the rainfall make visibility and accuracy difficult. Thankfully we're not rolling dice so you can write about how difficult it was to hit the air elemental as the rain and wind getting into your eyes makes seeing clearly very tough. So you can expand on the air elemental you're facing with your sword as it twists and swirls to dodge the swing of your sword but through sheer luck or divine guidance you finally land a decisive blow.
