I'm back. I may still get busy but I am still all in on this.

I decided just to do some character beats since I wasn't sure what will happen next.

I would love to do a random encounter table. That sounds like a great idea. Sea Harpies sound very cool. I think we may want to do some stuff to establish who this hag is. I also am going to say again if I haven't, any D&D sea based game needs an aboleth. It's like the law.

Also, for Jon's ex using sex, this is a fantasy D&D game. Maybe she is like a succubus and is using her powers to seduce people and not get killed. I find it kind of odd that the ex would just become evil out of the blue, so maybe she was possessed by some evil being that is manipulating her and can seduce people.

A succubus or an incubus or both is a good idea but I think I might wanna save that for a villlian we cross later.

I kinda see this new character as something of a sociopath, so using sex to gain power over and control people is not outside the pale for that type of personality.

Sioban looking at the map from the book we'll be passing by Bwualli an island with an active volcano said to be one of the many thrones of Ulrich's god, Kord, the stormlord before he left Exandria during the divergence. As such the mouth of it has the remains of his temple there. Many brave pilgrims and devotees of Kord go there hoping to gain a vision or boon from him or just to have an overall religious experience in such a sacred place there. Though in recent years fewer and fewer such pilgrims ever return there.

Also it's known to be a place for the revelry pirates to hide their plunder. So it's not out of the question for captain Saldea to make a stop there.

Would Bwualli be somewhere Ulrich would want to explore?

Which if any of the ladies are redheads? Finn has a thing for redheads.

And since I've had a chance to think about it more, I could double-class Finn and make him a fighter-bard. I'll have to mess with his stats a bit. But I'd like to make him more like Finn McCool the actual Celtic Hero. Esp since it seems we need more muscle.

At the very start of the thread Veroe, Shadowlace and I all posted pics of our characters. Sadly none of them are red heads. Jaena is brown, Priscilla is black and my character Diva'ss has white hair. But she does use disguise self a lot so she could make herself look like anyone.

I really think after we are done at Bwualli we should go up to level 8. Seems fitting. I also really want to find a magic item for my character there. Something she can believed that her Goddess has gifted her with and that will have a big bad protecting it. Items that would be good would be wings of flying, Robe of the Archmagi(it would be a gray one since my character is lawful neutral) and a Rod of Rulership.

As for sexy stuff, I think a scene between Ulrich and Priscilla wouldn't be out of place. They got some good chemistry.

Okay our random encounter has arrived. The two creatures Jaena saw I believe are called Chulks though I may be dead wrong I'm away from my D&D books right now and google isn't being helpful to me right now. But they're big crab creatures I remember them from the show.

They are only the first wave. The cannon fodder and distraction for a Sahaugin raiding party being led by one with a barnacle encrusted falchion with a golden eyeball in the hilt. Anyone familiar with Critical Role will recognize him as a warlock of U'kotoa, the leviathan sea serpent patron of FJord from the show.

I'm thinking they are after one of the people in the cages down in the hold. Though I haven't worked out why yet.
