What is worrying is that US politics seems more divisive than at any time in the recent past. Talk of a revolt is nonsense, but there is no doubt that those on one side or the other are not willing to concede any merit in the opposition's policies.
From the debates here, no one is likely to be convinced to vote for the party they don't currently vehemently support. The other side (either other side) is evil and must be stopped.
There appears to be no central ground, only the extremes.
I don't care what anybody else says, but I'm glad that Wat found his new Ed McMahon with BTB1000X.
Chobam's sudden departure left Wat feeling very lonely.
Yes, and I especially like that quote from Ogg where he says "talk of a revolt is nonsense".I really miss this guy. Knew his shit and was civil
Hey, Ed was a big celeb, also, and like BTB, he was always peddling something.Except BTB would be “Johnny” in that scenario, (BTB is a "celebrity”, dontcha know.)

YES!!!!
Nothing is more threatening to a bootless, unemployable mental midget like you than a normal dialogue between two ordinary, civil people who know what they are talking about.
You are terrified of me. You seek any shabby excuse to cut me down. It seems you sought to marginalize Mr. Tyler at some earlier time. I have not the slightest interest in any form of cult exclusion. I had enough of that in the communist movement and don't seek a reprise.
I was interested in Wat, as i have now posted dozens of times, because not long ago anybody with the merest education in the history of modernity knew the name. The English Peasants' Revolt of 1381 marked the emergence of rational social protest against feudalism.
The education of writers and artists everywhere in the Western oikumene once rested in very great part on knowledge of this volume:

I'm sure before Genocide Granny Buttheadsdottir became a camp follower of the Serbian Black Hand they heard of this book, though unable to read it.
BSG, take note!
A companion key volume in the training of decent intellos in the West is this by Norman Cohn: The Pursuit of the Millennium: Revolutionary Millenarians and Mystical Anarchists of the Middle Ages, Revised and Expanded Edition https://a.co/d/6La6UAD
I led a discussion in the Pentagon in preparation for the stupendous liberation of Baghdad in 2003, on islamic extremism, with Cohn as text.
Dick Cheney sat in.
Wat Tyler was the Bix Beiderbecke of his time.
.
And Wat Tyler is the Poly Styrene of ours. Gender being so irrelevant to you that your whacky claquey invented the idea of a fake transwoman just to end my influence over this site, you should see your enemy here:
It's the message, Dork Web doofuses.

Virtue signalling, like interrogation of terrorists with the threat of torture, is an expression of weakness, not strength. An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind.

There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.

We cannot change anything until we accept it. Condemnation does not liberate, it oppresses.

The number one way to relieve pain is to forgive.

The ability to forgive, like Common Sense itself, is an herb which wouldn't grow even if cultivated in a Lit libturd's garden. The soil is forever poisoned by an overarching Need To Be Right - all the time.

Gosh, Wat, you're right up there with Einstein, Jung, and Gandhi. An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind.

Well, you two folks are certainly the two most humble souls ever to grace the PB.A few signs along the route are nice reminders. Most of those folks brought their brains to the conversation. That Anonymous person brought along their humility, too.
Humility is the herb which almost completely will not grow in the PB "garden."
Well, you gotta recognize that persecution is linked with those visions of grandeur. Hope you feel better soon!I'm not sure that any national election hasn't been a result of The Fix this century. That kind of gives me a sad, but it also explains some stuff, too.
I am on Wikipedia. You aren't.YES!!!!
With you both truly being legends in your own minds, you and Wat were made for each other.
